Upon reading the other reviews on here, it sounds like I live in a completely different complex. This place is great. The price is really good, especially for the location. It's pretty centrally located with Jerry Klein Park, a bowling alley, Smith's, fast food, and Kaseman hospital all within walking distance. Hot water always works in my apartment and even though very few maintenance issues have occurred, they are addressed quickly. Manager is very friendly and pleasant to be around. Communication from management to residents is great! It's usually quiet and problematic residents are dealt with by management very quickly. There is a strong sense of community here and we all look out for one another.

Don't move here! Two people died within the span of one week when the water pump broke down. They have evaporated cooling and heating. The water is very contaminated in Albuquerque and there is something wrong with their water system here. When people were turning on the heating system, they were breathing in "chloramine gas", which is a deadly gas (used in World War II). You could smell the "chlorine" in the air and there was a loud noise from the water pump when it was broken down for a week. Also, the paramedics had to be called a few days later when someone else got sick. I tried to call environmental services and "HUD", and no one responded. Even, several other people noticed the "odor" in the air. I had to break my lease, but my safety and health was more important. Also they put a new "smart wireless meter" right behind my building next to a gas line and I was getting shocked when turning on a light switch! The EMF in that building was palpable. Could not use a wireless modem at all. I could feel electricity running through my body and quickly lost a lot of hair.
