Relocated for a new job and moved into an apartment sight unseen due to time restrictions. We got very lucky with our choice of apartment complex. This is a great community and we couldn't have a better staff. Robert and Gabby are always super helpful. We haven't had many maintenance issues but Cesar and Enrique are always on point. They work around our schedule and always get things done quickly and efficiently. We are very lucky to have ended up here.

My car was wrongfully towed from this residence. I was parked in a visitor spot outside the gate bringing my friends 3 year old daughter her stuff she had forgotten at the park and I was towed within an hour. How can you live at a place knowing your family and friends cannot park and visit you? Absurd! This place does not value it's residents. It does not value their relationships. Do not move here.

Worst place I've lived in my whole life. I would rather be stuck in a room full of lions with a piece of steak tied to me than ever recommend or live here again. I want to shoot myself every single day for signing a 12 month lease. December can't come soon enough. I almost feel like just getting into my car and drive out of here like I'm trying to win the grand prix when the lease is over. I don't even want all the living room, and bedroom furniture just so I don't have to spend one extra second in this toilet they call Fairhaven...

Once my contract was up, I was happy to just be out of there. At first the apartments look nice as a potential renter, but as soon as you move in you'll start noticing all the problems. The biggest problem was probably the manager, Dana Finer. She has zero customer service skills and will find anyway to excuse her actions when she is at fault and does not know how to apologize for anything. I can go on but I need to say that everything in the apartment is cheap and falls apart. Not to mention the first day moving in there was a roach infestation in my apartment. Management wanted me to wait until the following thursday to get the exterminator instead of seeing if they can come sooner. The roaches come back in no time too. The maintenance does a very poor job in fixing things and acts like fixing the smallest things a stressful job. Parking situation is horrible and the towing company that works with the apartment preys daily. They even wrongfully towed my vehicle and Dana still tried to find a way to excuse their actions. Lastly, they WILL find a way to scam you out of your deposit. I cannot stress enough to look elsewhere. I spoke with several neighbors to see if they had any problems and they all shared the same problems I faced while I was there. Again, looks nice at first glance but will be very uncomfortable once you're settled in. Good luck on your hunt

Essex also offers below-market rent (“BMR”) programs at select communities. While this is not a rental assistance program, BMR units may be available to residents who qualify based on their annual household income and the number of individuals living in their household.
