I've been living here for over a year in a Studio apartment. They are decently sized apartments with all the standard amenities you'd expect inside. They also offer a few pools, some very nice BBQs, a well-equipped gym/fitness-center, adequate parking/guest options and a "community hall" of sorts. In short, it definitely has all the standard things you'd look for when apartment hunting. The price seems to be standard for the current market. I'm writing this review specifically to highlight how well the leasing office and the maintenance team respond to requests - this can honestly make-or-break your experience living in an apartment complex. Any time I've had any issues, which is not common, Jerry De Dios has always been extremely quick to get the issue resolved, or to dispatch the maintenance team, led by Julio. Jerry also frequently checks in with me to see how things are going with my apartment and follows up regularly on any requests I've made. I work in building maintenance myself and I can definitely say that these apartments are well taken care of by Julio's team (shout out to Francisco and Joel). I've had 1 water leak issue (small), and they were in there within the hour (asking my permission prior to entering, of course). They repaired any damage to the drywall, replaced the necessary plumbing parts and when they were done it looked as good as new. This would be the same level of work I'd expect of my maintenance team at my place of work. I've had previous experiences in other apartment complexes with...less than desirable maintenance and upkeep from the landlords. You won't find that here. I frequently see them remodeling or renovating recently vacated apartments in preparation for leasing them out to new tenants. My apartment was one of the freshly renovated ones when I moved in. The only other issue I had was one noisy neighbor (dogs). I mentioned it to the leasing office, and they addressed it directly with the tenant, and it has not been an issue since! Jerry's follow-up on this issue was much appreciated. This was the only noise issue I've had living here. It honestly is a very quiet place to live (I believe the walls are well sound-insulated). Overall, I'd recommend living here if it's within your budget. It's a nice looking place, it's well taken care of and the staff is extremely responsive to their tenants.

Living at California Palms was my first time renting an apartment ever and I am so glad I decided on this place. There are lots of great things about it like great hospitality, security, ample resident parking and some nice amenities like pools and a gym. If I ever had a problem or question, the maintenance and leasing team responded quickly. I mostly interacted with Daisy and Jerry and they were amazing at answering any questions I had. With that said, I do wish a few things were better. For one, there are only about 6 guest parking spots in the entire complex so it was always a hassle trying to have guests come over to my apartment. They would have to hope there was an open space or spend 10-15 minutes trying to find parking around the complex. Not a big problem but something to keep in mind. Another small thing was that the gym has limited hours from about 9am-10pm which is super annoying if you’re a morning person, or want to get a workout in before heading off to work. Again, small but I think would make a difference for some residents. Lastly, the apartments are small. Personally, I rented a studio apartment which is perfectly sized for me, but I think would be pretty small for more than one person. At only 350 sq. ft., it is a slightly steep price tag for the rates they are going for now. All in all, I really enjoyed my time here. The customer service is great, there are so many shops and things to do around you and the apartments are pretty and have all the necessities you need. For those who can comfortably afford it, I would 100% recommend.

I freakin love this place! Not only is the staff friendly but we have all of these amazing amenities. Jerry is super helpful, always answers all of our question no matter how dumb they sound. This is the first time me and my wife have rented an apartment and Jerry made sure to help us understand everything. The apartments are very nice, it’s very safe. It’s a gated community, so no one can come in unless they have the key, the security guards are also amazing! They usually start their shift when the sun sets to make sure that everything is safe and secure! This is an amazing place when you are first looking for an apartment.
