First time. Spent entire afternoon here our kid of 5 won’t get bored. Enjoy great view of GGB right in front. Be sure to wear warm cloth because it can be windy and cool here even in summer. Parking is free and easy. Wish we’d have known this place earlier.
Fish Head
Fun place for the toddler set up to about 7-8 years old. There are several areas that the kiddos will enjoy, my daughters favorite being the full size boat they can play on. Great views of Golden Gate Bridge in the background!

Even though we went close to Christmas and during a rainy day it was a blast. The kids had a great time as did I. Tons of things to do no matter the age and a full day event

I've been here twice with my child. He had a really good day here. It was good for my child to have new experiences. And there were many things to enjoy. I'm planning to go here with my child next year. And I would like to recommend it to families with children traveling to San Francisco.

Absolutely. We've been taking our son there aince he was two. Plenty to get into and have fun with.
Hi Esteban! There is an entry fee for adults and children at the Bay Area Discovery Museum. You can find the most up-to-date admission information here: https://bayareadiscoverymuseum.org/visit/admission
Not really. Great for up to about 10 years old.
Yes, also check out the summer camp. It's pretty fun.
I found out about you
The sunday i went 2 weekends ago there was plenty of.space and I was able.to get.5.tickets.at the entrance.
If your low income and can provide proof in some way it's a dollar. If u can show an ebt card it's a dollar. Regular priced tickets are $25-30 and under the age of 2 is free amd no mask required. This museum is defintly geared to 7 year old children and under. And open minded adults that like to get on a little kid level. Me, dad and kids all had fun except my 15 year old who was bored out of his mind and hating life there.
Yes, good eye! As part of our Halloween festival, Goblin Jamboree, we had a "Slime Banquet" program where children played with slime and different spooky props, including creepy crawlers.
My one year old granddaughter had a great time. Highly recommended except for the cost though they have a lot of staff ang guided activities.
Yes. They have healthy food and drinks but you can bring your own.
You can apply and pay for a membership on their website or in person at the front desk.
Hi Miranda - there is a lot for a 3 year old to do. Everything is listed on this webpage: https://bayareadiscoverymuseum.org/visit/first-time-visit/daily-programs
Yes it is. It's just below the Golden Gate Bridge, so any season is fine. Awesome view.
There are many activities to do whit family, parks, aquarium, walking and more
Sprinkling yes. It is still very much enjoyable. Pouring could be somewhat hard to walk from building to building. But if you are dress properly no problem.
Everyone over 1 pays
