I wouldn’t go here ever again!!!! Got one of the worst hair cuts today!!!! During my last visit, I had noticed the staff fighting among themself to get the customer and experienced it myself today where I was literally asked to shift from one chair to another after their discussion. After washing my hair at home, I realized that the haircut was hopeless, the side lining was botched up above my ears on both the sides. If you want piece of mind and not fret about your hair after haircut, avoid this place. Can’t go less than one star, would have selected no stars if I had a choice..

The staff is very professional and they get you in and out fairly quick without sacrificing quality. The online check-in feature on their website is great time saver. Their prices are relatively high but I would definitely recommend coming here.

Update: 2-8-2022 I returned today to have my hair fixed. Linda said she would not fix my hair because she would not be paid to do so. I was directed to come back in five days because Amy only works on Saturday and Sunday. Luckily the other stylist understood keeping a customer is more important than being paid for the three minutes I would be in her chair. Obviously I would have tipped Linda for her time. The gal who did fix my hair got the $10 tip instead. Yep... $40 for a terrible basic haircut. I was not going to wait all week for Amy to fix it. Tips should be forfeited and given to those tasked with corrections. Original post: 2-6-2022 Of the last five haircuts here just one was satisfactory. Today's haircut is by far the worst. Amy had me in the chair for less than 10 minutes. When it came time to check out she kept saying "enter tip, enter tip, enter tip" while tapping $7 on their tacky tip chart taped to the counter. I strongly feel the fast and repetitive "enter tip", eyes and head movements directing me to the tapping finger on the tip sheet was her intentional method to confuse customers, causing them to enter $7 for her tip. I can only imagine how flustered those learning English might get. The more I thought of her tipping antics the more I wished I had said something. Upon returning home I showered and saw just how awful the haircut is. There are long tuffs of hair above my ears, one side of my head has longer hair, the top is cut higher on one side as well, the trimmed strip around my ears has double the width carved out over the left ear, and the incorrect wedge hairline is angled on the left and rounded on the right. Amy rushed through my haircut and demanded, by way of finger tapping and other antics designed to confuse and fluster me, I tip her as though she took the time to understand what I wanted and delivered on it. Before I could tell her how to trim the hairline, since she failed to ask how I want my hair cut, she had wedged it. But rather than allowing me to finish saying "let's do a fade then" , she just talked over me saying "it done already. It done already. You have to tell me before I start". This was after spending the first three of the 10 minutes she allowed me to sit in her chair, reassuring her she could not catch Covid from me because I had Covid four weeks ago. She stated I should have waited two months after recovering from Covid to come in. Today's botched hair cut is the worst haircut I've experienced as an adult. I must return tomorrow to have the tuffs of hair sticking out above both ears removed, the hairline fix, the sides evened out, the top evened out, and an insanely wide band carved out over the right ear to match the butchered left side. Amy quickly showed me the back before I could reach for my glasses. Before I was out of the chair she was at the register rushing me out the door; presumably to grab the next in line before one of the other gals finished. How Amy has a license to cut hair is beyond me. This was her second and last attempt cutting my hair. I had assumed she was having a bad day the last time she botched it. Obviously it's difficult to hire and keep stylist right now. Since returning to Bothell nearly three years ago it's clear this location struggles to keep good stylists. It didn't use to be this way. I had great stylists from here from 2002 until I moved away in 2011. Let me be clear... No matter the haircut price I've never left the salon paying less than $30. Even 15 years ago when I first started coming to this salon before moving away in 2011. I understand these stylists rely on tips to supplement their wage. However due to her fingerTIP tapping, failing to ask how I wanted my hair cut, and rushing I should have tip Amy just a dollar. Are we too stupid to decide what an acceptable tip is on an overpriced haircut? Cheapskates are going to tip the minimum no matter what. Ditch the tip sign and slow down. I will give this location two more chances. If they do not improve to an acceptable level I won't return.

I wish I could give a zero! The Asian old lady tried her best to show disrespect right after we got in. She blamed too much on my kid saying he was not cooperating and it could waste time. However the fact is that she finished the haircut in about 7 minutes for each kid while other people took more than 15 minutes. During check out, she enforced a mandatory tip of $7 per kid, but actually she secretly double charged it to make the total tip up to $28! I am Asian guy and always try my best to be more tolerant to other Asian people. However, this lady is too terrible! Please, please, please! Avoid this salon if this lady is still there!
