Update the google info to say you’re closed. People are wasting time, money and effort driving to your locations. I appreciate the prompt response and am sorry that you’re having issues with google and the listing. That has to be a frustrating scenario for all involved...get it together Google!!!

I arrived at Oregon lottery and the buisness is clean the enoloyees and kind and seem to like their jobs . I mean the cool thing about here is your normally only showing up because you won big or some one your with did. So its cool. Oregon lottery helps out a lot with community building as in donates monies to schools, parks , and recreation so a big thank you Oregonians for being big time gambelers.

As of January 1, 2018, state law requires withholding 8 percent for prizes of $1,500 or more. For Video Lottery prizes over $5,000, and for Oregon residents with tax ID numbers or Social Security numbers (the majority of players), Oregon Lottery is required to withhold 24 percent for federal taxes.
If we're open, you can come in the same day you have any Video Lottery win. Otherwise you'll have to wait for the next business day. You'll receive your winnings in a check, not as cash.
To claim a prize, any form of government issued photo ID will work: driver's license, state-issued ID, passport, etc. If you don't have one of these forms of ID, it's sometimes possible for our security team to approve an alternate form.

You can cash jackpot prizes up to $600 at the place won. Larger prizes must be claimed by mail. In-person claim options at the Lottery will be available soon!
Claims up to $600 (or $1,250 for video lottery) can be claimed at lottery retailers.
Yes! You'll take your winning ticket to Wilsonville or Salem where they'll issue you a check that you take to the bank located in the Fred Meyers a couple blocks away and cash it.
By law, the Oregon Lottery withholds an 8% state tax on all prizes of $1,500 and more. This means that the Lottery will pay your prize minus the 8% state tax. Non-Video Lottery lottery prizes over $5,000 will have 8% state tax and 24% federal tax withheld. Video Lottery prizes only have 8% state tax withheld. Hi Resha. Contact our customer support folks for assistance with this. You can reach them at 800-766-6789.
About 600 bucks
How much cash do you get to walk out with on a 5,000 Dollar ticket if you are tax exempt
The tax withheld is a base amount; whether more taxes are owed is dependent on each individual's tax situation. It's always a good idea to check in with a tax professional for a more thorough understanding of your specific situation. Congratulations on your win!
Unfortunately, not at this time, although we are working toward more options, we don't yet have an estimated date.
Hi Peggy. You can check your mail-in claim status here. Looks like yours has been received and is in process. Thanks! https://www.oregonlottery.org/claim-a-prize/
Our Prize Fulfillment Centers in Wilsonville and Salem are currently closed for in-person claims. You can submit your claim by mail or at our drop box in Salem. Fulfillment is by return mail. More details here: https://www.oregonlottery.org/claim-a-prize/
Yes they are... I don't know the house but they are open and wheelchair accessible..
Winners of $50,000+ would make an appointment to come in for their winnings. Smaller prizes can be fulfilled with our mail-in claim process. Although the offices are closed to most in-person claims, we're fulfilling literally hundreds of prizes each week! https://www.oregonlottery.org/claim-a-prize/
It can vary due to volume of claims and staffing levels. We of course try to have prizes out as soon as possible, but we're currently advising it may take up to three weeks for processing.
We don't know just yet. It depends in part on when the governor approves state office buildings for reopening, among other factors. You'll be able to find updates on our website as the situation evolves.
Congratulations on your winning ticket! Lottery checks are created through US National Bank. The easiest place to cash them is at a US Bank location. Other check-cashing options are up to the winner to research or investigate.
Hi Kelly. If you win up to $1250 playing Video Lottery, the retailer can provide your winnings to you on site. For larger prizes, you do have to claim them at a Lottery office (Wilsonville or Salem). There is no requirement to wait 24 hours; however, you may have to wait until our offices open for their regular business hours.
At this time we check for unpaid child support and any over payments from the Department of Human Services. We do not check student loan status.
At this time (June 2019), the Oregon Lottery is not connected with probation or parole fees or fines, so will not withhold winnings to pay them.
The Oregon Lottery will withhold 8% state tax on all prizes of $1,500 or more. For all non-Video Lottery prizes of $5,000 or more, the 8% state taxes AND 24% federal taxes will be withheld. Video Lottery prizes will have only the 8% state tax withheld.
At this time (February 12, 2019), we do not withhold any back taxes.
Yes. We accept both types of identification.
