Friendly service, took in a splintered graphite rod for repairing 3 weeks ago. Until this moment i have not received my rod. I was told that they have lots of back orders for the summer. I will not gove this place a bad review since the service was fine and i am not in a hurry to receive my rod. Store’s stock is varied, small but packed, i am aure you can find what you need.

Amazing customer service, the owner the employees, came in at 8:30. Opened on the dot. Owner gave us some extra bait for our troubles, everyone in the store was polite, ready to start the day, wow. Been here 3 times and will be coming here every time afterwards. They deserve your patronage! Spend your money here.

This place rocks everything you could possibly want for fishing. A huge selection of fishing pole making supplies. I bought a very nice lobster net and kit. I also bought fishing license and lobster card. The people working here had some serious customer service skills. They were kind, helpful and I didn't have to wait. Which was amazing because this place was busy. Also I want to point out when trying to find the place if you blink you can miss it. It looks small from outside but has a huge selection.

Yes they do. Depends on what needs to be done it could be sent out for big repairs or if minor they will do it in house. Everything they have done for me l was very satisfied.

As big as you can get those fish to eat. A 12/0 hook wouldn't be too big as far as the split rings I forget the number 10/0 but be careful the stainless split Rings tend to open and stay open a little I would hate to lose a fish cuz it worked its way off the split ring.
The business was started in 1939 originally, Joey's family purchased this business in the 70s and moved to this location in 91 or 92. I've been coming here for years they treat everybody like family.
The store near the Navy base is closed. Look up the store by MCRD, point Loma
Yep, they got 'em. They'll put them on for you too if you want. Tips are quick, guides will take several days, as they have to rewrap and glass them back on.
