Beautiful park! Tons of people there enjoying picnics, memorial services, birthday parties, canine obedience classes, and still plenty of room and parking for more!

Harry Griffen Parker is a beautiful park ii like especially the landscape. The tree how they hang differently trees at every section the park is pretty big . If you a group outing that is the place the sceney is the perfect place to be for enjoying the view . Children will have their good time playing in the park. You go for comfort, enjoy the park view Harry Griffen Park is the place. Very Nice Park to Go.

Its a great place to go with anyone. I love that the dogs and the kids can play while I get to fly my kites! Everyone has something to do or it's great to do nothing at all.

Nice dog park and trails. They separate the little dogs from the big dogs. I've seen some problems with owners not controlling their dogs on the big dog side. More pack behavior with the big dogs as oppose to the dog park on Grape St. at Balboa Park.

Yes there are a LOT of shade trees. Some with benches/picnic tables, but lots more choices if you bring a blanket or chairs.
This park is very open and has nice secluded areas you can go to and do self workouts. No areas like basketball courts or baseball fields. Just a kids park and dog park and lots of open areas.
No
There is not. There is a horseshoe pit though. Yet I would shy away from playing horseshoes with a basketball. You might puncture the ball.
They have gated areas close to the back of the park. Yes they have separate area's for small medium and large dogs.
Yes it is
There are allot of trees there probably not a good idea. Maybe on he baseball field.
I wouldn't, its there for all of us to enjoy. If everyone picked it there would be none left. Most nurseries carry them. Its easy to grow and is available in seeds or a plant
