1 is too much for this apartment. Unfortunately I can't rate less than 1. Worst apartment I've ever seen. Worst experience in my entire life. If you are looking for new appartments my advice to you is to look elsewhere unless you are looking for a lot of trouble for yourself.

Update #3: The facilities manager and his team are doing a outstanding job of keeping thing working and clean. The company recently added a covered dumpster area so the parking lot looks less like a dump. Still issues with the building due to it's age but when a issue pops up it is taken care of and the vendors that do have to work are much better companies than before. Hopefully the positive trends continue. Update #2: the new management has been very helpful on several occasions so plus one star for them. --------------------------- Do you like carpet that is older than Balboa park? How about plumbing that leaks so much your bathroom is never dry? If your answer is yes than Prado is the place for you. The management (looking at your Jennifer) will argue, accuse, belittle, and lie, anything to start and win an argument instead of providing customer service. I have been living here for almost 2 years and when I asked for new carpet in my unit I was told "no because the carpet is new", so sure its new if new means stained, dirty and matted down. And because their carpet cleaning service doesn't actually clean I am dealing with constant severe allergies from the previous owner's pet dander and fur that is lodged in the carpet and AC ducts. There is a hill that is open parking and cars literally sit there so long in the fire lane that spider webs form. Yet the one time I leave my car parked slightly over the line it gets towed. Driver had to drive past a mustang parked 100% in a fire lane to get to my car. Every complaint falls on deaf ears.

The pool is always dirty. You can't clean it yourself. Because the skimmer is broken. Also the pool is falling apart. This has Always been like this. I have lived here for over a year. It's not getting any better. They even leave the plants die that are in the pool area. I really don't like it here it's a very dirty place to live. Nothing gets fixed. Oct 24,2021 up date. Nothing at the pool was fixed. They did say they ordered a new pool skimmer but to date no new pool skimmer. They lie about everything. There was a big water leak in my building for about 2 or 3 months. My water bill doubled this month. I ask the maintenance man if they where going to fix the leak. I was told no! I was told because they would have to open up the hole wall to find the leak. That would be to much work. So I called the city of San Diego for help. The leak is fixed now that they know the city was notified. I hate living here. Do yourself a favor, DON'T MOVE HERE.

“All problems become smaller when you confront them instead of dodging them.” – William F. Halsey. This will be my parting line as I leave Prado in a couple month. I have admired the tenacity of the friendly staff of Jennifer, Arlene and even Manny the maintenance guy who will come fast to solve any issues with plumbing or the electric cooker. For the money paid and the location, I believe it is a good deal I wish all the complainers will redirect their energy in getting a petition to renovate the complex directed at CONAM which owns the property instead of slamming the management who are only working with the 'amenities" they have. The management staff do try their best and hope they do not give up ensuring the whole Prado family have an enjoyable time. To Conam: Please upgrade your facility !!
