This one is fun! Lots of rocks to climb on. We take the trail down by the creek where you have to hang on to tree roots and climb around rocks to get through. I think there is a trail that goes up and around to bypass this part. Theres no real elevation change so its not too strenuous but there are rocks to walk on and creeks to cross to get to the waterfall. Once there you can climb to the top while Mom freeks out watching at the bottom.

Beautiful spot with a varied 2 mile or so hike out and back trail. Some river crossings, a few rock scrambles, some narrow spots but in general what most would call on the easy side of moderate. Several families, some older hikers and dogs along the way so doable by most. It was a little tricky finding at first because Google maps takes you to a Scout camp if you just track to the falls and not specifically the trail head. A few spots not far in where you lose track of the trail and might think you’re headed in the wrong direction but keep on and it will widen back out and be more obvious.

It is a very beautiful and calm waterfall!

Fun hike, be careful with children. Trail gets narrow and it’s got some pretty steep drop offs.

Yes, they're open. Be careful on the trails though, they're still a bit covered in debris after the last rain storm.
