From a friend who swore they couldn't find a decent bra at their size (a 32 JJ - she not only found multiple options but ended up with a gorgeous red lacy thing that truly supported her), to someone who didn't think that there were people who understood why they wanted a binder (They not only found compassion but multiple options to choose from...plus help to know how to use it properly)- this store has what you need IN STOCK and also cares. I am a frustrating type - tubular. This makes bra finding remarkably difficult. Add two teen girls - one who hates all underwires but needs support, and one who wants a binder to 'just make them go away'. We ALL found bras that made us as happy as bras can make a person! Let's be honest - finding a bra is a hassle, annoying, and sometimes can seriously damage your self esteem. However, this store seems to understand that and makes every effort to make it a pleasant experience! I recommend The Pencil Test to ANYONE who needs a real fit done. I challenge you to come in with a situation that they can't solve!

This is definitely a "beginners" lingerie option for those "larger than a D cup". Clueless on your size, or what to get? The Pencil Test is for you! However... Even if you know your size, don't want or need an appointment, they will still hassle you for a fitting, and they will bother you in the dressing room. I came in to get something very specific, just wanted to try it on for confirmation, and ended up buying it. Would have gone 30 minutes faster if the associate would have just let me in-and-out it like I stated I desired at the beginning. Instead, I got attitude over the appointment policy, even though the store was completely empty, and had three staff members restocking the completely full racks. If you are wondering, no one came in for an appointment while I was there, so I'm not sure if that was some false exclusivity charade or what! Reading from others that this appointment thing is more of a hassle than it's worth for a lot of us... I'll just keep going to Nordstrom's I guess.

I had not had a bra fitting in over a decade, and never one so well-informed. The worker was able to just look at my bust while I tightened my shirt around it, and get my size that way! She found a lot of great bras for me in different styles to try on. I bought a couple bras, that actually fit, and am so happy.

I love this spot!! So many cute and supportive options for large breasted people! On my last visit, Genevieve greeted me for my appointment, and brought out some cute bras in my size, plus swim, sporty, and sale options! She made amazing suggestions and I ended up leaving with everything I needed! If you ever need sizing or help with what fits best, Pencil Test is THE place to visit.

Really great. They sanitize surfaces. Can only enter store by making appt. Masks required. Sanitizer when entering store. They are great!

They do carry wireless bras. As of the last time I was there they did not have the snap in system, but I would call and ask. They get new inventory regularly.
I second that yes. The fitters are great, just make sure you're honest about what you like and dislike. Since they have a good selection not all bras fit the same, so not all will be a great fit.
Pencil Test has a wide price range. They have full priced bras I've seen the cheapest at like $40/50. They also have a sales rack too. It really depends what kind of bra you buy.
Way better! Amazing customer service. And some are even more reasonably priced.
At this time we're not aware of any stores like us in Denver. Looks like a trip to Portland is in order!
