I must say that for a small town such as Sandpoint, Idaho, this cool organic business deserves a good review. We have a summer home an hour away and were in town for errands. Friends had mentioned Winter Ridge, but I usually go to Libby, MT for most serious grocery shopping. This store packed a punch and even had a formidable salad and soup bar. Loved the beverages and food choices on the shelves. Everything you need, given the size. Can’t wait to shop there again.

Always has a great selection of everything, plus makes its own soups, salads and sides daily. There is also bread and rolls made from scratch, and tasty pastries. They have a great selection of wines and beers as well. In other words they have everything the health store normally has, with the addition of organic meats and in-house made sausages. Lots of bulk product and fresh veggies and fruit too. They also have fun gifts and useful items such as chopsticks and thermal water containers etc. You may have to hunt through regarding prices, sometimes they are extra $ on their items. However, everything is always fresh and freshly stocked, and their staff is knowledgeable and helpful about the product (large selection of vitamins, herbal products etc). So, the trade-off feels worth it? As everything is in one spot vs hunt and peck in different supermarkets.

Yes!!! I can't believe I'd found so many of the hard to find vegan/vegetarian products along with just good food for a health lifestyle! ! I have stopped looking online for the very hard to find ANYWHERE until I stumbled upon Winter Ridge, I've told ALL my friends, a must go!!!
