Yes, its a safe area. We have been going there for the past 20 years or so (ever since they opened) and haven't experienced any problems. Great food and service. Too noisy when crowded, but that's because everyone is enjoying the food and their company. Best of luck.

Woodlands is a vegetarian restaurant. It doesn't serve meat in any form.

I dont think it was made with ghee as it didn't taste ghee in it. However, as mentioned earlier by Shankar you tell him while ordering and they will make it without ghee.
