My son has lived at skybox with two roommates since Sept…so far so good The apartment is in a great location, staff is friendly and helpful and it was clean when they moved in.

I bet you’re thinking, “Wow, people are just being dramatic leaving 1-star reviews.” Listen to them, they are not wrong, and every “horrible” experience is probably true. I lived here for the past year and let me tell you, it is not worth it. Don’t let the location lure you into renting a unit here like I did. The unit at first glance seems nice, until I noticed that everything was slightly dirty/broken when I moved in (broken dishwasher, tilted toilet paper holders, very unsteady shower curtain rod). There is no A/C. In the hotter months you will be sweating buckets. This apartment complex is basically a dorm room 2.0, with tons of parties all throughout the COVID-19 outbreak. People are loud and it’s hard to study/get some good sleep with garbage trucks waking you up at 5am a few times a week. The neighborhood is unsafe, my roommate had her car broken into right outside of the apartment complex, and at the time of us living there, that neighborhood was rumored to have active kidnappings. If you want your child to be safe, do not put them here unless they carry pepper spray with them. I feel like a lot of reviews did not go into detail, so that’s my little speech. I hope this gives someone some insight.

Please do not renew your lease here or consider signing up for one. My car has been broken into twice and the management treats it as the individuals problem and not the fact people can target this lot due to its terrible security. I hope everyone reading this avoids this place and continues to stay away unless they fix the break in problem. This isnt just with cars too there was a bike room break in where a dozen+ bikes were stolen and management did not own up to anything. This is an appealing location but do not live here.

I wish I could give this apartment complex 0 stars. I truly have never been more continuously outraged by a property management company. They allowed my roommate to sub-lease her room to 2 roommates instead of 1, which left me living with 2 people I did not know who also had multiple pets. The management company was completely negligent to respond to multiple issues I came into contact with while living there. They gave me a temporary parking pass and told me I could park in the lot and then had my car towed, they charged me double my rent one month and then said "oh well I guess you just won't have to pay next month then!", told me I would get August free as part of a promotion they were having, and then charged me for August and said they "didn't remember making that promise at the time of my lease"as well as the biggest issue which was letting two people rent a room intended for one person. My living environment was not only uncomfortable but also unbearable because of the way my new "roommates" lived. This property management company also gets new management multiple times a year but it never helps because everyone that works their is lazy, incompetent, and unresponsive. This is a legitimate scam of a complex that is money thirsty and out to get students who most likely do not know their rights as renters. I would never recommend Skybox to a friend, not even my worst enemy. To top it all off, somehow the manager is always "on the phone" or "in a meeting" EVERY SINGLE TIME you have a problem, need help with something, or have a complaint. Convenient. Anyways, I will stop with my ranting but it is truly the worst and most unprofessional complex you will ever live in. Do not live here, I read reviews on Yelp before signing my lease but assumed people were being dramatic but trust me when I say there are not even words to describe how awful my living experience was there.
