I’ve stayed at other La Quinta locations and have had great experiences. This one was very different. The staff was friendly, but the person checking me in made many comments about my looks that made me feel uncomfortable. They also commented on and questioned me quite a bit on why I was there by myself, in a way that made me feel uneasy as a woman being there alone. They switched me to a “jacuzzi room”, I think as a way of trying to be nice? I wish they hadn’t! The room felt like a dungeon. It was so dark and the view out the window was basically just the bottoms of the cars in the lot outside. I went to look at the jacuzzi in the room, and there was a pile of 4-5 wet towels in the jacuzzi. The whole building had a dingy, old, used up kind of feel. It just didn’t feel clean. The bathroom smelled really weird, the air conditioner worked well but had silver duct tape all around the edges, the carpet in the room was grody. I didn’t even want to look at the breakfast room based on the lack of cleanliness I observed everywhere else. Just not at all what I was expecting from La Quinta. I felt dirty and yucky and in need of a shower when I left. Giving two stars only because the staff was friendly (not counting the check in person).

They double charged me and getting a hold of a manager is hard. The motel is very nice. I talked with one of the girls at the desk and she can see what happened but says it's above her to fix it. I was told she would talk with the manager and call me. Never happened. So I asked when a manager would be in and was told 6. I went to the desk at 630 and she's not in and the young man said maybe 8. Getting frustrated

The staff was incredibly welcoming and polite. The room we got was OK... bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean. The room itself had a foul smell to it but it could have been due to being in a pet friendly room or a mix of the freshly painted hallways. As someone who was coming in through town and was not familiar with the area, there was plenty of grocery stores/ restaurants conveniently located near this hotel. Very quiet location.

Facility definitely needs to be updated. The shower was awful. The shower head was low and bent which made taking a shower difficult. There were no blackout shades in our room on the first floor so you could just see into the room through the thin white curtains from outside which made me uncomfortable. Glad it was pet friendly but that was the only good thing about this property.
