Fun brewpub to occupy your time apres ski or while your kids challenge each other on the mountain. Decent selection of local and Maine brews as well as other bar options and seltzers. Food does fit into the pub food category but is executed well, delivered hot and fresh and is consistent. There are good options for younger kids and their adult companions hanging around with them. You can take your meal outside by the fire pit, picnic tables or watch your kids bomb down the mountain with the huge windows, fireside.

Would definitely recommend. We were just in town to get away from the city for a few days. We weren’t very inexperienced skiers, so we took a lesson with Al O. He was patient and beyond what we expected. In just an hour of lessons, we weren’t pros but we could get down a couple slopes, making turns with no falls. We did about 10 runs and could’ve gone all day if our legs weren’t on fire! The resort was intimate with a fire to relax, and drink/eat. We met great people and had a GREAT day. For a nice casual day at the slopes, definitely go! It was an awesome Maine experience.

Great place to ski. Neatly maintained and friendly staff. But this place isn't for beginners. They have very steep ramps but still mention "easy" and "beginners are welcome" 😀 it was fun though. The price is competitive.

Is there a place to sit inside to watch the great grandchildren skiing?

Alice Saucier | Aug 18, 2021
Lost Valley Brewpub | Aug 18, 2021

Yes however we are asking that you limit your stay inside to allow all to access the lodge to warm up, use bathrooms etc. our lodge capacity is 100 including our staff so we ask that you go outside for bits if time to allow others to cycle in if needed. We also have a fire pit outside and a warming hut between both lifts accessible by foot.

How can you rationalize a 600$ season pass? I can go to 3 major ski resorts for a little bit more.

Lost Valley Brewpub | Aug 18, 2021

Our cost to operate is no different than a big resort. Where they have 100,000+ visitors plus lodging etc they make money in other ways. We also need to make snow more frequently being at lower elevation in the State. Our passes have no blackouts or restrictions either. Lost Valley continually reinvest in the mountain and are proud of what we offer. We feel our pass us appropriately priced and great value for those who intend to get their use out of it. Our proximity to populations and night skiing means anyone in Southern Maine has more opportunity to use a pass here and get their investment back (10 visits). We run a huge sale every March where passes are discounted by $200/ea. If the price point is too high for you now, that may be a great time for you to buy in the future. Thanks for the question and have fun this winter.

Cassandra McAlister | Aug 18, 2020
Lost Valley Brewpub | Aug 18, 2020

There is one set of prices for tubing. 1hr or 2hr passes. We don’t differentiate between kids, teens adults college students etc. for tubing. If you are a Bates or CM student you can get 15% off your purchase due to our school wide ski membership they have with us.

Is the snowtubing part just 1 "run" or are there different runs with varied features like they have at Seacoast Funpark?
