Everyone was king was patient except....The doctor told me that my condition was stress and charge me for it! I went to go see another doctor close by there and diagnosed me right away. Also, they make you wait outside there before come in.

I had been feeling sick so I went to reddy urgent care as a walk-in. The receptionist is very nice and the nurses were very helpful because I was in pretty bad shape but they were non judge mental and didn’t make me feel embarrassed. The medicines they either gave in the office or prescribed electronically to my pharmacy. Very clean office organized and compassionate medical team. Just make sure to not get a ticket because as soon as I got back to my car a parking enforcement from lbpd drove up in a Jeep and was marking my tire with chalk but it really didn’t even leave a mark so they could come back and give a ticket keep an eye out for the signs or anything over thirty minutes. My visit was very quick and I didn’t experience waiting in line at this urgent care.

I’ve been to this urgent care many times and received good care from the medical assistants and physicians which is why I’ve recommended it to others. However, I will not be going there again nor will I recommend it to others. An incident occurred recently where a staff member revealed private health information of a patient (my family member) to another patient waiting to be seen right in front of said patient. When I called to inform the facility of this I was not able to speak to a supervisor since one was not on site. Although the staff person I spoke with agreed that the manner in which the private health information (PHI) was revealed was not right she said that under HIPAA this information can be revealed to other patients if it has to do with COVID-19 since it is a public health issue. While that may be the case, the way this information about the aforementioned patient was revealed was very unprofessional! Not to mention it could’ve resulted in a dangerous situation for that patient. We live in unpredictable times and you never know what another person will do if they find out about a person’s Covid status. There’s a way to disclose information like this if need be, but I am very disappointed with how it was done. Keep in mind that if this facility makes it a habit to do this then patients may avoid seeking medical help, or may under report symptoms because they fear their personal information will be disclosed by medical staff without consent. This review isn’t meant to get that staff member in trouble, but the facility should really look into training their staff on how to professionally disclose PHI under the right circumstances.
