Extremely uneducated and unprofessional. The staff there didn't even knew how to take vital signs and was so rude. They need to train their staff way more !!! Especially in manners and simple thinks like taking blood pressure readings and signing patients in.

***If you have the option to go somewhere else, please do so for your own safety.*** I got to this establishment at 7:45am and stood in line (outside) patiently until 10:30am. When I finally got to the front, I filled out my paperwork and followed all instructions. Unfortunately, there was an issue with my insurance and my plan was not active at the time of my visit (I was unaware). I felt so terrible, health-wise, I was willing to pay with my own funds to figure out what was wrong with me. I was told by Long Beach Urgent Care staff that due to them not wanting to deal with me paying cash that day to only have my insurance provider back pay and have to deal with figuring out a refund (that I did not ask for and would not have asked for), I was turned away. I was willing to pay with my own money and was turned away. I left humiliated, ill and devalued. ***If you have the option to go somewhere else, please do so for your own safety.***

This place would be a lot better without one particular lady who works in the front desk. Im sure those of you who work there know exactly who im talking about. I have been here on multiple occasions and she always has the same disgusting attitude towards patients walking in. She is rude, demonstrates no empathy, and her people skills range from zero to none. Im sure this is not the first complaint about her, so that should tell you guys something. Either properly train your front desk team on customer service skills, or trim the fat from your staff and hire people who actually want to help others and not just sit behind a desk, claiming a check, doing the bare minimum.

I cannot overstate just incredible the staff was here💙❤. .. I don't have any insurance at the moment, but needed to get medical attention for an ear infection. I called ahead about an hour just to check on regulations (do I have to be alone due to Covid, etc.). Lady on the phone very nice and helpful. When I got there, there was a line outside, due to people getting vaccination. I sat down to wait. Within 20, someone came outside to assist. It was the same lady I had talked to. She had me come in. My actual wait to see the Dr was only about 30min. The Dr. Was amazing, even accidentally diagnoses an issue I'd been having for months and didn't know what it was. Through the entire visit, though the staff was very clearly understaffed and tired, they always checked on me and were compassionate. A big thank you to all the ladies that helped me. Stay safe!!🧡💜
