Amazing food! We had agnolotti for appetizer, which tasted authentic and went so well with goat cheese. For entrΓ©e I got ribeye steak and my boyfriend ordered chicken schnitzel. Both dishes were the size of our heads. Huge portions! We had to take half the plates home. They both tasted amazing, and I especially loved the sauce on chicken that made it taste absolutely incredible and different from any chicken I've ever tried. Steak was also great and cooked perfectly. My only gripe was that side of mashed potatoes came with skin (I find that nauseating) and were also overly seasoned. But at least next time I'll know not to order those. For dessert we had lemon creme brulee, that we both thoroughly enjoyed. In the past we've had their fish dishes and they were also delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. Service and ambiance are also wonderful.

Nice spot in Laguna. Sadly⦠food was not on point. Burger was soggy, pork belly was over cooked BUT the kale salad was good and so were the fries. The outdoor heater was abundant and kept us all pretty warm. Open to trying again but was highly disappointed with the food.

Are you looking for an experience equals The Vine in San Clem but in Laguna Hills? Of course you are. Enter: Ironwood Cellar. It must be all of a decade since The Vine opened in San Clemente and along with Nick's and South of Nick's jump started the San Clem haute cuisine game once and for all and off the restaurants in San Clemente, The Vine still reigns supreme as far as creativity and consistence is concerned in my mind. Well, Ironwood Cellar is another eerily similar concept from the same team and again it is executed to near perfection. There are so many similarities to draw on that I could rabbit on for ages but from the style, vibe, service, to the menu and quality of ingredients one would be forgiven for calling Ironwood Cellar a second location of The Vine -- which is a very good thing -- but Ironwood feels a bit more nervous. Maybe frenetic is a better descriptor. At any rate, it is not as relaxed. The menu and bar program are both exceptional and you really cannot go wrong with any of the popular items such as the house made Giant Meatball, Zinfandel Braised Lamb Shank, or Jidori Chicken Schnitzel but if you are on your first visit I say go for the American Waygu Burger because... well, because it is an American Waygu Burger. Let's get the only major problem with the Cheeseburger out of the way first: Yes, it is $19.00. And yes, Waygu Chuck offered the same amount of said Waygu for $11.00 just 5 short years ago in Santa Ana. We can agree: Cheap it is not. Moving on. The amount of investment you put into the Cheeseburger pays dividends in taste. Think of a expertly molten slice of Fontina Cheese draped over a perfectly juicy (and medium-rare) Waygu Beef patty topped with Tuscan Greens, a slice of roasted Tomato, along with a smattering of both Spring Garlic Aioli and Giardiniera Relish, loaded between a soft Challah Bun. It sounds exquisite and it is. What may even be arguably better is the Herb Fries that come along with the Cheeseburger. They are crack cocaine in Potato form and I could not stop grabbing one at a time even after being uncomfortably full. At that point the nineteen bucks was a mere afterthought. Summed up: I am a huge proponent of Ironwood Cellar and will be back, no question. I urge you to make the stop and start with the Cheeseburger and go from there. You will not be sorry.

Never done it but I suspect so since I have seen people bring their own wine. I would guess $15-25
