First I wanna start off by saying the other tenants are amazing. The location is hard to beat. But that is where the list ends. Maintenance is non-existent. I reported various things that went wrong while living here, but maintenance did not fix any of the issues. The lock on the front door was broken upon moving in, but maintenance could not fix it. So I lived without being able to lock my front door (dangerous right?). They did not supply working smoke detectors. The list goes on and on. My roommate and I had put in work requests for both issues and a maintenance person came by and looked at the issue for about 30 minutes and left without fixing anything and never came back to fix the issue. Deer Creek’s front office members (specifically Kacey Bartak) are incredibly greedy. They wanted so much money (over $3,500) from me upon moving out that I had to hire a lawyer to resolve our apartment contract disputes. I would strongly recommend finding a better place to call home.

By far the best apartments in Overland Park.The property is maintained well and has a very quiet community. Neighbors are super friendly. If you're looking for amenities, they provide everything you could ever need and more. I love the location because it's right down the road from everywhere you're trying to get to. The staff is so friendly and will leave you either laughing or smiling. Krishanne is amazing. She is so kind and truly cares about her residents and whatever she can do to help. I would recommend Deer Creek to anyone trying to live in Overland Park!

I’m so impressed with Deer Creek in the past few months. The new manager’s energy and passion and kindness is contagious. The landscape looks better and better and the new leasing agents are delightful. I finally feel like I can come into the office and not feel like a burden. Keep up the good work and thank you for caring as much as we do.

I saw and finalized this apartment in 1day. It's quiet and well managed. Karin was super helpful and guide through the move process. 1 thing I hate is the mandatory $30 TV fees, irrespective you use it or not. Good overall.
