2nd vet that could only guess at the condition of our cat. Unfortunately she passed away sick while on prednisolone steroids they prescribed her while basically just guessing at her illness at after doing testing. Remember folks, vets aren't real doctors so don't expect them to fix your pet when they've become ill. Unless you've got thousands to pay for testing that may or may not be conclusive. They probably don't know any more than you do. Either that or they aren't willing to tell you unless you've coughed up a couple of paychecks.

I have always had positive experiences at VCA’s in Portland. So we decided to make this our primary care for our three herding dogs. The vet and tech were awesome. Very kind appreciated our active dogs and gave good care. It was nice to see a vet who seemed to love her job.

They love animals and it shows! We bring in our furbabies for their shots, bumps, and/or other needs. They will work with you for appointment times and with medication choices. Best vet clinic in the area.

This is Lola. Lola has been a stray in my neighborhood for over 2 years. She has been impossible to catch. Recently she warmed up to my wife and I and after several days of feeding and watering her, she got close enough for us to pet her and she started to trust us. After several days, we were finally able to get her into a kennel and bring her into the clinic to see if she had a chip. The staff at 12 Mile Hospital were so nice and genuinely cared about the lost kitty. They scanned her and found she had a chip. Lisa at the front desk then stepped into action and made the call to the tracking center. Despite being #12 in line on the phone queue, Lisa stuck with the call and was finally able to find out Lola's name, and found her owner. Lisa was able to make contact with the owner and later that night we had a tearful reunion when Lola was re-united with her owner after being lost for over 2 years!!! Thank you Lisa for helping make this happen. Thank you for staying on hold while you tended to the rest of your duties. Your extra effort is much appreciated!
