Tall skinny black guy , missing teeth wearing gold chains kinda ugly is seriously disrespectful to people. Especially hispanics since there’s a language barrier. Yelling at them in there face. Even heard him walk away and say he’s going to hit this elderly Hispanic guy on the head with his stick for accidentally putting to many in at a time. Seriously needs to watch his mouth because he’ll end up trying the wrong one and end up with more missing teeth. Seriously embarrassing having someone like him working. He seems to pick on people that look easy. He was nice to me a larger Hispanic with tattoos. Guy is seriously a bully and a joke to this business.

I normally donate my recycling deposits. However, this morning and on two other occasions at this facility, I have been appalled at how the staff treat people. This morning, I witnessed a male worker talk to everyone like they were in a third class citizen consentration camp. Two out of the three times I've used this facility, something was broken. Today it was the conveyer for cans. The last time it was no plastic bottles which I ended up donating because the staff was too busy to do a hand count. Although, I am not sure what they were busy with. Today, one customer, who was very small and frail did not understand "no cans" and was feeding them into the machine. The man was so small, that at first I thought he was a child. The male worker started yelling and got into the man's face and raised his hand at the man, he then punched the ticket button and told the man to get out!!!! The mans demeanor was meek, and I honestly believe the man still did not understand. Additionally, upon opening, one of the female workers was extremely rude to everyone. I was the third customer to enter the building, and as other people were entering, the female worker was yelling at everyone stating they were accepting plastic and glass ONLY. I kindly asked her if she new how long it would take to fix the problem. She then became hostile and said "this is why I don't like dealing with people". I was shocked at her behavior. Her co- worker was kind and said it would take about 30 minutes, but to go ahead and input glass and plastic. About 30 minutes later the nice lady came to me and said it was okay to input my cans. After I was finished I had about 10 items that needed to be hand counted, and when I took them to the counter the first female employee I encountered was very kurt, and told me she would not do the hand count because that too was out of order. All three times I have been to this facility, one or two of the staff are always rude and hostile to their customers. The first time I used this service, the same guy who raised his hand at the customer today, said that they were understaffed and that they do not have managers. When I asked for a business card or information about their services, he said he was not allowed to provide that information. I have never heard of such business practices. From my total experience at this facility, it seems the general attitude of the staff is like they are put out to help their customers and if you are a new customer.... forget it, you are in your own. Fortunately, today, one of the regular customers was kind enough to explain his experience and told me about the green bags for purchase. It's sad that "people/customers" are being treated disrespectful by the staff. Which brings me to my final point, what is the purpose of the bottle deposit if people are going to be treated unjustly for a program that is supposed to help the environment. I won't go back.

Deposited 346 cans today. the machine had an error printing the reciept. Unfortunately their replacement reciept couldn't be scanned & deposited, only cashed. I wanted the other option, for the store credit. The workers were understating/respectful, but there was nothing they could do, so they advised calling customer service.

The bottle drop location is always very busy with long lines and no parking. I use the bottle drop with the green bags and just drop them off. Was very disappointed to see the door I open to put my cans in was filled to the top with cans! I don't expect them to be counted today just because of the huge amount of cans they already had that haven't been touched.

Yes. Just walk in and get what you need.
Unless you want to sort bottles yourself and keep all the money, it's so easy to sign up and get bags/tags plus a bar code key fob - then you can drop off after hours and withdraw cash at a dispenser on your next visit.
You can go in register for there bottle drop card and pay $1.20 for bags and tags and fill bags put tag on each bag max of 2 a day and drop the bags into there drop of area and then they will put the bottle money on your card and you can get the money of the card
They're supposed to be open 365 days a year. However you should call the one in your area and get the hours. They've been open on every holiday that I know of since they opened. Yes there is a limit of 350 containers which is $35.00 dollars per person per day.
The number of bags you can return has been changed. It has changed from 2 bags per day to 15 bags every 90 days, there is no limit on how many bags are returned as long as it does not go over 15 bags in a 90 day period. This is equal to about 1/6th of a bag a day. This is considerably less than the previous limit of 2 bags per day. But for people like myself, the convenience of returning more than 3 bags at a time works well for my variable schedule without exceeding the total limit. The biggest downfall to this are the penalties imposed if you exceed the 15 bags in 90 day limit. According to the Bottle Drop website, any time you exceed the 15 bags in 90 days limit, your account will be deactivated to stop any more deposits from being made. And if this happens you will still have access to your account so you can withdraw any money you may have there. But if it happens too frequently, (or you drop more than 15 bags in one day), BottleDrop says they will close your account.
Type bottle drop in Google Maps. As it will also give you direction with or without GPS. As well, there will more information there.
Generally they open at 8:00 am at the regular Bottle Drop locations and that is 7 days a week. At locations located in a retail store, it is best to contact that location as they may need to follow the hours of the location where they are located.
you can check it online through the bottle drop app on your phone.
Yes all the machines work good here and it's really clean
They aren't. ALL bottledrop locations altered their hours for three days (July 3rd-5th) because of the record high temperatures. Regular hours resumed on Tuesday the 5th
Christina, the previous answer to your question is only partially correct. MOST Fred Meyer locations have the same kiosk that you will find at all of the bottledrop locations. And those kiosks are full service kiosks that allow you to print bag tags AND replace your card if ever needed
There is a recycling box for glass bottles here.
The limit is $35 or 350 total bottles, cans, or glass per day. The redemption tickets must also be redeemed for cash the same day.
Wait 3 seconds or so then pull the handle it will open. You might gear a click then open but it is delayed.
Call your local bottle drop for hours. They're supposed to be open 365 days. Google Bottle Drop to find the nearest one to you.
I believe it is the hours of operation. (9a-7p). Note: Be sure to scan your card when dropping bags. (If someone else opens the door, be sure to close it and scan your card. Otherwise, you won't get credit for those bags you drop.) I learned that the hard way!!! Good luck to you!
Yes. Enter the code you were sent, at the kiosk, to access and finish setting up your account. From there you'll be able to print off your card and your barcodes. Then take your card over to the service desk and they'll scan it and give you your boxes of bags.
My best answer for your question is You will have to go in and ask or call and speak to an associate
Yes
Thank you. Be safe.
No but stores like Fred Meyers in Safeway you can buy the bags I think it's $2 a package of them if I remember it on their website you can use the locator and it'll show partner locations such as Fred Meyers Safeway and other stores you can pick up the bags there's quite a few locations
You can drop off up to 15 bags per account, per quarter year. This can be all at once.
You have to print out the tags at the kiosk.
I think it's so they don't have people coming and going at all hours of the night. There are houses/apartments near by who probably don't want people there constantly, especially when nobody's there to monitor it. Plus, they probably think it'll eliminate crime.
They started doing that quite a while ago. Don't know why but it does free the staff up for other things. Were they busy helping another customer, at the time?
Don't flatten your cans. The cans spins around in the machine, so it can read the barcode on the can. If you flatten the your cans, it won't work.
The number of bags has been changed from 2 bags per day to up to 15 bags in a 90 day period. It does not matter how many bags in a day, as long as you do not try to return more than 15 bags in a 24 hour period or more than 15 bags in a 90 day time period. Be careful of these numbers as Bottle Drop has said they will close your account if this were to happen too frequently.
yes. 350

Curious to know how you realized these "flattened, already cashed in bottles" were already cashed in? Now, they may have been. But, I've personally found several bottles smashed by cars along side the roadway.
