Aside from the facilities, it feels like a home and community here because of the maintenance team (I have received assistance from team members Jorge, Nico, and Victor). They are always here Sun and Mon-Fri and working super hard, responding to any requests submitted and arriving within an hour or two of the same day to address the request with a great attitude. They are kind, trustworthy, hardworking and always open to helping out, even if it isn't related to maintenance. I will always remember how they were even kind enough to assist with lifting heavy items (tables, bed frames) into the doorway of my apartment when I first moved here. It always brings a smile to my face each day to pass by them on my way to and from work. Thank you so much to the Torrey Villas maintenance team - you truly make it home here!

The community is beautiful, the new remodel of the apartments are great as well. Upon my move-in day, my bedroom closet reeked of cigarette smoke from the previous renter and I found gum stuck to my bedroom closet rail as well. During the first 2 days in the apartment, I had to submit multiple work orders for my washing machine not working/ missing parts, my dishwasher was missing parts and the top rack almost fell off and I almost lost an entire rack of glassware, my toilet also has to be repaired. Maintenance is extremely pleasant and quick to respond though! Additionally, I have reached out to the leasing office numerous times to have my roommate added to the lease and no one has gotten back to me. I was able to get ahold of someone over the phone and was told to email the office. I emailed them on 3/30 & on 4/3 and still have no response from anyone. The walls are thinner than I expected, I can hear my upstairs neighbor more than I anticipated. I politely asked my upstairs neighbor at 10pm to please lower his TV volume and was rudely given a response from him. I was not able to view the unit that I currently am in prior to moving in and based my decision off the model unit and the online dimensions posted. I have large bedroom furniture and once moved in I found it did not fit properly due to the dimensions of the room posted being in accurate. I am in a plan 6, the second bedroom is not 11x14, it is actually 10.5x13.5. Idk why they choose to lie about the bedroom dimensions which is frustrating for someone trying to plan where their furniture goes upon moving in. Highly disappointed.

The complex location is ideal, the grounds are well kept, the apartments are updated, the staff is friendly and the maintenance requests are addressed usually within the same day. Moving to Torrey Villas was a great decision. :) THANKS!

The review by Xiao Guan is pretty accurate about the noise. There are some good things to though. Irvine Co employees are first rate and are excellent. Things are taken care of quickly. The pool area and jacuzzi is like a 5 Star Resort. Think Ritz Carlton or 4 Seasons. The Exercise room is also 5 Star. So much in fact we dropped our gym membership. Club Room, Theater Room and Office Room are all Top Notch Now the bad. Hopefully you work during the day in which case the noise from workers won’t be an issue. I think some days there are more workers here than people who live here. The noise is constant all during the day so if you work from home like me, good luck. Plan also on your garage being blocked daily by workers. They will move but it’s inconvenient. Weekends are best when the workers are all gone. We came from a private single family house back to apartment living which you expect a certain amount of increased activity level. Today I’ve been listening to the last three hours of some loud carpet cleaning machine or God knows what. I’ve closed all of my windows and just praying for 5:00 PM. I’m just not sure all of the workers will ever leave. There’s lots of vegetation so landscape guys with their blowers is a noise maker too. I am looking forward to having a single family house again. This kind of living is just not for me.
