I've lost count at this point how many temporary fixes have been done to my A/C unit (I think this is attempt #5 in 3 months time). I realize it is the middle of summer in South Carolina and that air conditioners simply do not function nearly as well during this time, but it is quite clear at this point that the old/outdated unit has some sort of leak or permanent issue with it and needs to be replaced altogether. It is also quite clear that the apartment complex is just trying to make it through the summer with these temporary fixes rather than resolve the matter for the long-term. The problem with that is that my lease is signed all the way through the summer of next year, and I don't want to go through another summer of this in 2023. We're right back at 74 degrees when it is set to 67 and I am literally sweating just folding laundry. It's extremely uncomfortable at night time and my sleep has been HORRIBLE every time this thing goes out. Overall, I love my experience here at Palmetto Place, but if this issue is not resolved permanently and properly, I will be highly disappointed in my time here by the end of my lease, and basic comfort/air conditioning should be a given in this place that I call home (for now).

I’ve lived here over 4 years. I hate that my lease is ending! It’s literally the best apartment complex I’ve lived in. Brittany always goes above to help and maintenance is amazing. Always responds quickly. I’d recommend this apartments to anyone looking.

I have been living at Palmetto Place for 1 1/2 years and absolutely love the area. The area is quite and close to everything. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Maintenance is always on the ball when there is a problem with your apartment. I highly recommend Palmetto Place Apartments!

I love it here. Neighbors are friendly, staff is friendly and super helpful, the amenities are nice and well kept up, and upkeep seems to be high priority for them. I have yet to need maintenance, but I have met some of the maintenance staff and they are very nice. Summer at the office is a pleasure to deal with and timely in her responses. My roommates and I are relatively young and we don’t feel out of place at all. This is the best apartment that we’ve been in.
