Spokane Valley Winco Shopper here. Hello, I am a frequent neighborhood shopper. I generally use a hand basket when i shop. As of the last 6 months, i am being told that there are no more hand baskets to use & the store manager thinks it's ok to not purchase the hand baskets due to them coming up missing. I am a former whole foods employee as well of 7 years & understand the psychology of the grocery shopper. At my previous job, at Whole Foods - we had extra shopping baskets positioned around the store so that the customer can put more things in the basket. Matter of fact, we watched customers (like me) who had their hands full & would offer them a basket so that they could shop & buy more goods. If your average shopper puts $30 more items in their hand basket, does that not pay for the baskets? If the basket is $2 perhaps a cheaper basket can be purchased for the store if they are being misplaced so that the store can accommodate for the shoppers who need a basket. I am disgusted at the customer services mentality of "lets punish all of the shoppers" by not allowing any hand baskets in the store. This mentality is elementary & very small mind thinking. If the store manager is proud of this move & thinks he's smart by punishing ALL customers, he's costing the good store chain of winco money by shoppers like me from not buying more & not appreciating the simple mindedness of the Spokane Valley Washington location on Sprague Ave. Sincerely please consider this email as a helping suggestion rather than a complaint. Perhaps the store manager needs proper customer service training in a course of action on how to be a leader.

Always nice and neat and friendly...I prefer going at night not that many people to deal with as long as u are a good driver...dodging all the boxes...from the night crew restocking shelves...thank u to the night crew 💓 u all rock. Too many people. Self check is slower than the actual check out. Plus why not put it on the end of the building that doesn't block traffic flow. The only reason for WinCo is veggies.

I work swing and shop when I get off. This is a 24 store and they stock at night. About the same time I shop. They put all their boxes in the middle of the isle's and makes it impossible to get down any. Plus the employees don't try to move anything or help you at all. This really shows a lack of customer care. I like the prices and items but I can't give them more than 3 stars.

They sell in balk lots of items i also bought some specialtie tea in balk
Far as I can tell they're pretty good. I feel safe enough to shop there regularly and I have a weakened immune system.
They have refillable gallons of drinking water, but I don't think it's distilled.
Normally you have to spend X amount for your "free" turkey for holidays. Sometimes it's $50-$200. Sometimes they don't run the sale at all.

No. I believe it and the deli counter close around 7 or 8pm, but you can still buy products from the areas in those departments 24 hours.
Yes they did at least from like 6:00- 8:00 am. Not sure if they're still doing it tho now.

YES WINCO HAS MOTORIZED CARTS. THREE MAYBE FOUR. TWO IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. ONE IN FAIR CONDITION.
