Basin sod has the best quality sod for a fair price. They truck sod from tri-cities (their farm) and will beat Ray Turf in quality and price considering Rays turf sod farm is in town. Basin sod ALWAYS calls ahead before delivery and the forklift driver is great! One thing I suggest for basin sod is to update their fall hours on google to closed on Saturdays. Now I have to wait until next week to finish up a job. Guess that’s what happens when I bank on basin being open Saturdays in the fall.

Amazing customer service! I LOVE the refillable buckets!! I needed something for roof runoff due to no gutters and was headed toward pea gravel, Jodi inside helped me by recommending larger river rocks because she had been told in the past they work better for people regarding drainage. Thank you Basin Sod & Gravel, I will defiantly be back & recommending to everyone!!

Bought sod earlier in the day, but could not haul it away in one trip. Paid for it all, but upon one of my return visits the same day I find that they had sold MY sod. Most places mark what you purchase, set to the side, or otherwise alert other employees of a sold item that is due for pick up from the customer. They have no such system in place. My advice if you buy something here, only pay for what you can haul away. Their employee hurled the "f" bomb on me more than once as I displayed disbelief over what happened. He had the attitude that they are the only place in Spokane to get sod, so you need to kiss his you know what. This man should not be in any job where he has contact with the public.
