This is by far the cleanest and neatest Goodwill I have been to: both in Mississippi and out of MS. The cashiers up front was wonderful and such a pleasure to meet and chat with. They greeted me and told me about the purple tags half off sale happening for the week. Upon entering the store you are greeted with awesome decor across three tables setup to pick from. My wife had a blast looking through the autumn theme clothing and accessories that were on display near the register area and picked out a belt and sweater. The Waveland store is so organized and clean and I was able to find all the categories we were interested in shopping. I came to look for hardware and electronics and my wife came for clothing. We were both really satisfied with the items we found for purchase even though the electronics area was kinda low on product. I did manage to find some items in other areas that were just a steal of a price. Katherine was my cashier and Mike stepped over to help get hangers off our clothes and to get them out of the way. They were both really kind and had great attitudes. Katherine asked if I was a loyalty member and I told her no as I had no idea that Goodwill had such a thing. She asked if I wanted to sign up which I did with just my phone number and the process was quick and easy! She explained how the points work and as a frequent shopper of The Picayune store with occasionally stopping at Diamondhead and Waveland because of traveling for work, I’m sure I’ll be getting my $5 off coupons pretty quick now! I asked to speak with a manager to give compliments to and Jesse came up. I told him everything that is in my review here. He thanked me for the positive feedback and told me he was new to the position up front and that he’s been working really hard to make sure that the product his customers want is out for sale and that the store feels very welcoming. I think that makes a huge difference as I feel like this is a brand new store from the last time I visited a few months ago. We chatted for a little bit while my wife still looked around as the clothing aisles are much larger than other stores we frequent. Jesse recommended us to check out a few areas in the store before leaving, like the ocean and beach display shelf in which we found a couple cool decorative pieces and a jar full of shells. The display cases around the registers were packed with all kinds of goodies to look at while my items were being rung up. Overall I think Waveland is now my #1 and I’ll go a little out of the way to stop by to see Jesse, Katherine and Mike again. Jesse told me to come back and shop Monday to find some pretty awesome deals for dollar Monday. Thank you for a great shopping experience today. I will be back to see all the exciting new goods that will be out the next time. If I could give 10 out of 5 stars I absolutely would. I am 98 percent sure the worker stole a piece of jewelry I was looking at. Saw that I was googling it to find out it's value and 6 min. later,it was gone.

Incredibly hot. Walked in to look around and was sweating in 10 minutes. The people who work here must to miserable. Needs better cooling.

Goodwill gets donations for everything in the store and then wants to Jack the price up so much its ridiculous. And I guess they dont get enough money from our people and when u make a purchase they want to ask you for more money when you checkout
