On November 10, I purchased three train tickets from Sandpoint, Idaho to Vancouver, Washington roundtrip. At the time of purchase I was told that I had 24 hours to cancel my reservations to receive a full refund. I called back a few hours later to specifically ask the agent that if the state of Washington were to shut down due to Covid 19 would I still be able to get a full refund anytime up to my departure date. The agent informed me that if there was a shut down related to covid 19 that I would only be able to recieve a partial refund of 75 percent of my purchase. At that time I opted to keep the reservation. On December 7, I called to cancel my reservation due to the fact that the state of Washington did indeed mandate a statewide shutdown. The agent informed me that I would still get my full refund since it was due to covid 19. She stated that she would credit my bank card in full. I also informed her that I had a replacement bankcard. She stated that it would still get refunded to my bank account. On December 9, I had yet to recieve the refund. I called customer service and they stated that all I could get was a voucher, not a refund. My trip was canceled due to Covid 19. I was told several times I could recieve a refund to my bank account. I will not be making this trip at a later date to use a voucher. Due to the miscommunication and misrepresentation of your policies by multiple agents, I am requesting that I be able to recieve a cash refund to my bankcard. Had I originally been told I would only recieve a voucher, I would have canceled my reservation within the 24 hours of purchase.

I have seen cars there for a long time
Not directly. You'd have to take the Empire Builder to Portland, then the Coast Starlight to LA, then the Sunset Limited to Phoenix. Better to just fly Spokane to Phoenix.
