I got there went inside it's so far back in the back to get your birth certificate they should bring it closer for people with disabilities you have to walk so far back but once you get there the lines are ridiculous you have to wait in line to fill out a form and get a number and then you have to sit in the hallway and wait to be called to get your birth certificate but you're in a line with hundreds of people that are sitting there that have just gotten married or they are applying for their marriage certificate they need to do it better than what they're doing it because it's not fair for those of us who are just there for a birth certificate to have to wait and that one long line for room 168 and then to go sit down and be called for 162 which only takes a couple of minutes once you get through the first line but it's a beautiful place and I do understand why people go there to get married

Fallon saved us. Our wedding officiant messed up our paperwork and Fallon was so great and told us step by step what we needed to do to fix it. He even gave us his direct line to call if there were addional questions and came up to help when we came back later. The staff overall were so kind and helpful. Public employee a bad rap, but my experience with staff here was top notch. Thank you, Fallon. If you ever see this!

The Asian guy that assisted me was rude, like he really disliked his job. If you don't like where you are- change it! You're not a tree. Other than that the other employee who checked me in was friendly and the service was fast! FYI, if you have a backpack you cannot go in through the main entrance (Polk St), you will have to enter through the Grove street entrance.
