Excellent Museum that has great well laid out displays. So glad we visited!

Nice small town museum. Focus is on Historic Columbia River Highway. Small kids may find it boring. Adults, it's worth the stop

This is a cute little set of museums just past downtown Troutdale. What the lack in quantity they make up for in quality. They have a great exhibit on the history of the old highway and it's local businesses. The staff are friendly and genuinely seem to have fun working there. The house next door is fun to walk around and see the old furniture, appliay and fixtures. Out behind the museum is part of the Oregon trail as well.

Lovely place to stop and learn about the local historic sights. Great postcards!

Yes there is a small charge $5.00 that helps keep the lights on. Say Hello to Sharon, a wonderful docent, at the red barn
We are currently working to remove artifacts from the Depot necessitating the need to close the museum. The renovation is planned to begin this spring. We do not have a date for its completion at this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience. When it does open, it will be fantastic. Thank you for your patience. Please come visit our other two museums - Harlow House (open Sunday 1-3pm) and the Barn Exhibit Hall - King of Roads exhibit (open Wednesday-Saturday 10am-3pm & Sunday 1-3pm. Please visit our website troutdalehistory.org or our Facebook page. We will post the progress of this renovation. LeAnn Stephan, Executive Director
