Really gorgeous but windy rest stop. Lovely view of the river, with nice clean bathrooms and plenty of walking trails. Many picnic table areas, and several educational plaques, one very nice one talking about the Oregon Trail settlers.

This is a such a beautiful place to stop and get out and just walk and take a break. The parking can get a bit challenging at times especially when people don't care how many spaces they take up. It is looking great after the fire they had last year.

Would love for there to be more parking for cars and trucks but, ya know, topography. Very scenic but also loud due to the aforementioned topography and proximity to the interstate highway. Very windy most days. Some of the picnic tables have wind screens on the side of the prevailing wind to make them usable.
