Had a blast! Was in Maine for the first time for an event and we all had an amazing time!

I enjoy walking around, it's calming if you like the water and current sounds. It's nice to sit on rocks and relax as well, bring a book, snack etc

Great place right around the corner from where I live. There are shallow areas to sit in by the rocks or deeper areas to to tubing down the river. I love to bring my dogs there. There are a couple of trails to walk around and then we splash around in the water for a bit.

I do believe that it's a state park. Its all FREE.Parking, picnic tables, portapoty with access to the Saco river. Really nice. The trash was full, but all where it should be. 1st time I have been in awhile.
Bonnie Eagle, ME is about 5 miles down stream. There's a dan there you'll need to portage around if you don't stop there. There's another dam in West Buxton, a few more miles down.
