Today I visited a grand total of six community pools. Gatlin Rec was the furthest away, and despite that, it is the only pool i visited that i would visit again. Theyre the only location i visited where their hours were readily avaible, they were open as they said they were, and the staff were confident on exactly when they would be open again next. It is unfortunate that the bar for community pools is so low, but Fort Gatlin exceeds this bar and more; the staff are friendly and confident in their work, the facility is clean and well kept, and the pool was accessible both to myself (communication impared and physchally impared) and to others in the community such as other visitors i saw be accomdodated for blindness or other physical disabilites during my visit. Over all: spacious and clean pool, good staff, and the 2$ entry fee is simple (although cash only, and may be an issue for some, and i was glad i happened to have cash. I would recommend they allocate funds for a card reader.)

I went here 3 weeks ago for the first time and I won't be going back. I paid $8 for my sister in law, nieces, and myself to go in and we were only able to be there for 20 minutes because someone had an accident in the pool and they were closing for two hours. About 10 minutes to us being there my sister in law went to pick up my brother, leaving me with my nieces. Suddenly the lightning sensor went off and they closed the pool completely. What really made me upset is the way I was told to get away from underneath an awning with my 7 and 5 year old nieces, and to walk past the gate as cars were leaving because they were closing it. My sister in law was already on her way back to pick us up but they told us to start walking. It was thundering and lightning and then it started to rain and the girls were wet and scared and we were told to walk because they couldn't wait 7 more minutes for our ride to pick us up.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed in the pool area. However, if you are walking your dog and kids sometimes they are nice enough to let you bring your pet to the playground area as long as you can control it.. and keep it on a leash.
No
Not really, but some times the do on certain days
Yes. The large gazebos must be reserved. You should call or stop by the office
Yes, a court of public opinion, a people's court, a court martial, and tennis courts and basketball courts.
Yes they do
It costs $2 a day to swim. A year membership is $60. Not sure about swim lessons.
You can leave it in you car and when ready take it to the eating area just outside the pool area. There are tables there where you may eat and drink non alcoholic beverage. Only water can be brought in the pool area.
nope
Not sure, I don't recall needing a key. Though it could.
No see tennis center
They have swimming lessons. It doesn't really specify it is for a certain age group. But when in doubt, you can call or walk in. They're friendly and have good customer service.
Two dollars per person, also the attendants and lifeguards are nice. Bring your own towels and no food allowed.
There are vending machines only.
Free playground and parking.
Year round weather permitting; You're blessed to in Florida😁😳
Call them to know for sure.
As suggested, give them a call at Ft.Gatlin Rec.
I concur, because I personally witnessed it take place during a visit there.
You get in for free. To enter the pool it is $2 per person.
You don't pay to get into the park. To open swim it cost $2. I don't know about the aerobics.
I believe you have to make reservations through the Orange County parks and Recreation although I usually go there for the swimming.
I concur, $2USD Per person; adult or child same price.
You'll need a license to go fishing at any public lake. You can get them fairly inexpensive at Wal-Mart.
Don, not sure if Benji knows that, but in general, if people that visited there know the answer, we try to answer it for the business. Unfortunately Benji, idk the answer to your question though
No cost... 1st come first serve for the picnic tables. If you go on a weekend and have a large group be there as soon as they open to ensure they don't reach capcity
