Free paved parking. Clean and well maintained. Restrooms with flush toilets needed attention. Drinking water. Easy access to S Fork Rock Creek. Garbage cans. Visitor information. Picnic tables. Two covered tables wheelchair accessible. Bridge at trailhead almost wheelchair accessible. Spotty cell service. The best we found was around bridge at trailhead.

Picnic tables, rest area, place for your dogs to take a pee break. The bathrooms can get really busy here, lines at each spot. BUT, across from the rest area parking lot is a creek, with bridge and hiking trails!!! It's absolutely beautiful on the trails. The creek is adorable. The rest area itself is good, tables for lunch, at least one covered table as well. Seems to be plenty of parking.

Clean and well kept. The dog area was very nice and provided enough room for my puppy to roam and do her business. Trash cans were nice and empty and maintained so you weren't trying to throw stuff away that was over packed or over full.

Clean and well kept normally. When the highway is busy and half of Portland is heading to the North Coast it can be a mess. The state does a good job trying to keep it clean, but sometimes it gets overwhelmed. They've added port-o-lets to help with that. It's a nice place to stop if you need to use the restroom or stretch your legs. There's a few trails at the rest area also.

Open 24 hrs... Was there a few weeks ago and a month and a half ago and was open both times.
Yes there is plenty of room for the big rigs to stop for a break.

I did and yes, you are allowed to sleep in a rest area.
You cannot stay only for so many hours and yes you may sleep therein you're ow car, that was when it was managed by Full Circle Prop Management. And it is now overseen by Oregon Travel Experience and he no longer works there after 7 years, they felt the need to hire someone with more experience and less knowledge to care for the park. But it is a beautiful area tanks to natre
