I will say the room was very nice, other than having to walk down 3 different hallways to get to it but I'm guessing that's where the 2 bedroom suites are located within the building. 2 lights above the bed...one on the right worked, one on the left...nope. Not that I intended to use it but just wanted to check, only one phone in the rooms worked (was a 2 bedroom suite with a living area) Breakfast is a joke....Don't book with the breakfast package...Breakfast is premade/prepackaged gas station breakfast sandwiches. Save your money and use it to eat at Addys Diner in the arcade located next to the hotel. And last but not least, I loved getting back in my car after the $39 a day valet had it to find that my radio station had been changed to a rap station. What gives them the right to touch anything in the car other than the gearshift and ignition. Kind of makes you wonder if the valet took a drive before he parked it.. I expected more from Marriott than this. My last stay in Cleveland at the Aloft was perfect... Doubt I'll ever stay here again.

Very good re-use of a historic building (arcade mall). If you want quiet, make sure your room does not face the front main road as you can hear vehicles with blaring music through the windows during the night. Front desk staff was very helpful, even secured our luggage after check out so we could visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without having to put our luggage in our vehicle in the parking garage. We will come back and stay here again.

Our room was located in the Euclid building. This is the most customer unfriendly layout I have ever experienced in a hotel. We took the elevator from the lobby to the second floor. Walked through the dining area and out a door into the building next door that has various stores located in it. We walked along a second floor walkway that looks down on the shopping are for quite some time to a second elevator. We took the second elevator to the 4th floor. Once we got off the second elevator it was a walk through various halls and up a set of stairs finally to our room. Using a luggage cart was not an option. The room was not anything like other residence inns I have stayed in. It was dirty and needed updated to say the least. Some of our pillows did not have pillow cases on them. We did not have enough towels in our room for our family, for some reason only 3 were provided. I called the front desk and they were supposed to send more, they never came. We asked the front desk if there was a better way to our room and she told us there was only one way. We experimented with several stairwells to find a more customer friendly way to our room. All of the stairwells are disgusting, many cigarette butts, empty beer cans and filth. The breakfast was also a disappointment slimy not fully cooked eggs, sausage, waffle in a plastic wrapper and old bananas. Upon checkout I was charged for two days of valet when I had only used it once. I called to complain and was told that the valet had tickets for each day and it had to be right. I was eventually credited after another phone call.

Great location for anyone attending a Cavs game. Stadium is within walking distance. Hotel is close to several restaurants and local shops. The room (2 bedroom room suite) was spacious, clean, and well maintained. Front desk and valet staff were friendly and respectful.
