They have taken care of my kitty since I moved to Salem 6 years ago. I love their compassion, the way everything is explained, the professionalism, I could list things forever. My cat is about to turn 16, and he has a clean bill of health. Companion helps keep him this way. They truly love animals.

The people at companion pet clinic are AMAZING, they treated out cat Piper like one of their own. They were right on with our cats diagnosis and after 15 minutes we were on our way, it's been almost 3 weeks since our visit and she's a completely different cat. Thank you Companion Pet Clinic 🙂

This place is a literal joke. They tell you to call first thing, depending on the day, to get an appointment which today happened to be Sunday. So I call at 9:30 like I was instructed to do. The line is busy so of course I keep trying. I FINALLY get through to a person at 10:10am after calling 32 times, only to be placed on hold for another 15 minutes. I also sent an email thinking maybe the phone was just off the hook and they hadn’t noticed since they were technically “open”. When someone finally gets to the phone she tells me they’re booked up already and said to me “oh honey people call hundreds of times doesn’t mean they get an appointment”. Then she hung up on me after I started to express my frustration and worry for my dog. I will never recommend this place to anyone or ever come back. My dog was having an allergic reaction which didn’t show cause for an ER trip but she definitely needed to seen. I called yesterday and told them what was going on so they were aware of how severe her reaction was. No compassion was shown or even care for my animal. Save yourself the stress and time by going somewhere else.

We have been going to Companion for years and every single time have experienced fantastic care. Finding an exotic animal vet, especially one who can treat birds, is difficult, but Dr. Mills is wonderful. Not only is he kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable, but he goes above and beyond. My daughter had a pet quail who needed surgery a few years ago and she was very worried. Dr. Mills called the evening before the surgery to answer any questions she had and to put her mind at ease. We have seen multiple other vets as well and they were all professional and compassionate. I have also appreciated the office staff who I know has to deal with customers who are stressed and emotional and sometimes frustrated because it can be difficult to get in for an appointment. In spite of that they are friendly and empathetic. Having taken dogs, cats, birds, a bearded dragon, and a ball python in to this clinic over the years, we have always been satisfied. I cannot recommend them enough.

Were very sorry, but even with adding extra lines our lines get full as we are still having to do most of our business remotely. You can text for a faster contact.
Yes Friday thru monday.
They are the best! That's why you have to get there before they open. But it's worth it. Very reasonably priced. Good at what they do.
Absolutely. They are cheap compared to everywhere else and the doctors are all friendly and knowledgable. Also they love animals. We have dogs, cats, birds, reptiles and they can care for them all. Line up by 7-730am and you will be out relatively quickly. It IS worth the wait and especially for the price. You owe it to your pets and yourself!
They do all kinds of pets. I would suggest you call them for the cost.
They do, the doctor to see is Dr Mills for that.
That would be something that you would have to call Companion Pet Clinic about they could tell you right away I'm sure. Sorry I couldn't help.
Long time customer there, the staff is friendly and I believe cares about the pets coming in. The prices are reasonable and I think Kelley is right with 17.00.
Go to Humane Society I believe they are cheaper. Check into Friend's of Felines and Humane Society for vouchers to help pay for spay/neuter of your pet
Yes I believe so
Open on Sundays 10am - 5pm
So sorry to hear that it's time. Please call us at 503-588-1603 to arrange a time to come in. (be patient if you don't get through right away as most of my front staff called in sick today). The price for euthanasia for a pet between 1-25 pounds is $96. The price for general cremation where you do not get the ashes back it ranges from $20-$35 depending on weight, and for private cremation where you do get the ashes back it ranges from $83-$141.50.
Not really...we will occasionally clip a cat that has severe matting, and we do routine nail trims. Probably should try contacting grooming shops. 😊
I paid $10.00 for the first visit. They just checked to make sure he was stable enough to wait for his appointment the next day. Then I was charged just under $40.00 for the visit and I opted in for a chest x-ray and that cost $140.00.
Yes it's the same number to text. Unfortunately, most vets in the area are full or have long wait times. When I was finally able to get through to the clinic a while back, their text messages and phone calls had been going non-stop since they opened and it's a struggle for them to keep up.
No they do not. You drive up when they call and tell you to come in. You call when you arrive. They will call you when you can bring pet to doors. You will be checked in outside at the door and your pet will be taken in. The vet will call when they are done or need to talk to you. You do not enter the clinic at all. Buying products same procedure.
An exam would be required prior to any vaccines being given. That cost is $34.50. Depending on the age of the dog and how many previous vaccines she has had will determine how much the cost is for all her shots. They range from $12.50 for rabies to $31.50 for the influenza vaccine. As for spaying your girl...that will depend on how much she weighs. Currently we are not doing spays UNLESS it is an emergency. We are hoping to be able to start doing them again in the near future. Please check back with us every couple of weeks and we will be happy to let you know when we are doing them again.
Yes, Dr Mills treats reptiles. Exam fee is $34.50
Dr. Martin?? We have not had a vet by that name.
Thank you for reaching out to us about your newly adopted cat. The answer is yes, we are doing dentals. In order for us to get this done, you will need to complete the following: The cat will need to have an exam which is $34.50. You will need to call us as close to 7:30am Mon-Sat and 9:30am Sun to get your pet in to be seen by one of our doctors. We have limited slots available slots for exams so it is important that you call as close to the time our phone lines open as possible. You may need to call multiple times before you reach someone. If you get a busy signal or error message, hang up and immediately call back. Once your cat has been seen, the doctor will give you an estimate on the cost for the dental. If you approve the estimate then you will be directed to a scheduling receptionist who will set up a date for your cat to come in for a cleaning and any extractions that may be needed. If you have any questions, please text us or call us at 503.588.1603. Bobbi
I think it's only like $35 but you should call and ask when they open
Yes, we do! Dr. Mill's is in on Saturday, Sunday and Monday's!
Yes they treat all types
You will have fo call your vet. I have used Companion on Lancaster for many years. I may be interested in a pair. Not brother/sister. Since you are interested in neutering may I ask how many you have. I had 12 at one time. That overwhemed me. I had dogs, ferrets and one parakeet. Too much. They are awesome though. Ms Riggs
Yes they care for a variety of pets
Yes! An exam is $47.50 but you can let them know i refered you and you get it half price. They are wonderful!!! They see rats, rabbits and will take care of you!
Its 34.50 and they are so good at taking care of all fur babies!!
Hi, a dogs normal temperature is 101 -102.5. http://www.animalplanet.com/pets/what-is-a-dogs-normal-body-temperature/
The Emergency vet is behind Rockin' Rogers on Market. I have had to use them. They are good people.
It's always first come first served walk in. Usually good idea to call first if going in the afternoon as sometimes they are very busy and not seeing everyone. You would need to call the clinic for current pricing.
Nope! I called and their voicemail says they're closed for the Memorial Day Weekend
Yes, they will do that. Good place. Excellent service.
Anytime during business hours.. No appointment necessary.. to keep costs down payment is expected at time of service.. as far as how much it costs, it all depends on what you want them to do...
Take her to the veterinarian immediately.
Try calling them because these questions are posed to Google Maps users who've been there and not directly to the business.
Have you applied for care credit?
Get an x-ray make sure no foreign object is in there could be poisoning
not sure if its poison or not i dont know what it is i just know iv been trying my best to battle this i just pray im not doing him more hard then good
They do have a Dr that deals in more unusual or exotic animals/pets.
Yes. It must be paid after the visit like most vets.
