It's a nice area to ride a bike or hike! There are also some good spots for bank fishing. The parking is good with some shady areas to keep the car cool.

Awesome nature area great for on foot or by bike. Over ten different mapped trails with varying levels of difficulty. Can do anything from a 1-mile easy walk to a 20+ mi bike ride. The trails are almost all shaded by trees so great place to go on hot sunny Texas summer days. Only downside is trails take awhile to dry out after the sun so be sure you check on the DORBA website to make sure trails are open before making the drive there.

So we walked here and it was nice and clean the downside was getting to the plane park. We had crossed over a pipe so a bridge would nice between the two.

Great trail running. Run counter clockwise. Bikes go clockwise.
As with any non-designated park area, dogs are allowed only on a leash. Also, right of way should be given to all walkers, runners, & bikers. Be aware that there are copperhead snakes out there, so not a great idea to let the leash out too long from the trail.
All really flat dirt but be careful around bends and watch for roots on the path so you can keep your smile
I assume that there are fish there. I see folks fishing there often. I would not recommend eating fish from those muddy waters.
I am an avid rider. I go early mornings twice or so a week. There are dogs on the trails. I pay attention, and call out RIDER!!! They are always respectful and I have never had an issue as I say Good Morning Guys! On my way by. I normally wont even run into anyone, and I move at a good clip. I think it's a positive thing. DORBA advocate.
You can bring your dog. Just keep them on a leash and in control. The off-road cyclists are used to sharing the tail, but your fur baby may get spooked
There is a porta-potty at the trail head / parking lot.
