The area is full of dirty drug use and passed out people. It's not a place for a regular person with kids should go. It's unsafe and I get harassed in the area everything I go.

Oregon Bottle Drop is going great; yet, there are issues that need attention; such as the very limited supply of carts 🛒 in which to off load one’s vehicle of redeemable containers. This lack of carts 🛒 causes a s l o w d o w n of efficiency returning containers. Remember, you are appreciated!

Great to have a place to return your battles and cans. The employees are always helpful and friendly and keep the place clean. Thank you Bottle Drop for the great service you offer.

This BottleDrop is great. Even if there's a line it goes fairly fast!! You can bring your bottles and cans to one place... these days we get 10 cents per can or bottle... it Adds up pretty quickly!! U put your cans and bottles in the machine, u take your ticket to another machine , scan your ticket or tickets and it pays you cash!!Right in the same place!! U can pay for green bags and drop off your cans or bottles and have money put on a card within 24 hours. This place is pretty clean and the employees seem nice enough!! I think all the stores are eliminating their can recycling so u have to bring them here. Of course they are practicing safe social distancing and you have to wear a mask!! Saving your recycling and bringing it here all at once is like money in the bank!!

Yes, up to 350 cans/bottles a day per person. That currently adds up to $35 Cash.
Yes but it takes a card and bags. Go in and set it up.
Yeah
Best thing to do is take your card to a BottleDrop Plus store like Fred Meyer, Albertsons, the Kiva, etc., and get a cash voucher and spend it in that store, because they add 20%. They are not supposed to make change if you buy less than the amount on your voucher, but I've had cashiers give me cash change, and someone told me they take the voucher to customer service and cash the whole thing in.
Likely
11/13/2018 I was there today and the sign says 5 AM to 11 PM on the outside drop off door.
If you want Bottle Drop to count them for you you have to buy their bags at 20 cents each and you get charged 35 cents a bag to count them, which is well worth it, especially if you use Bottle Drop Express and get another 20%.
Doubtful
Its$ 5.00 dollars a box don't know how many inbot
There is a recycling center near Garfield and Roosevelt Boulevard but I don't know if they take can
It's on summer hours right now. It's 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
I remember getting a notification that they were temporarily changing hours due to the heat
What questions do you have
you sign up online and then you go into the store and type in a number that the email you and it'll print out your card for you and then you can get bags from the counter and tags from the kiosk inside
It's easier if you can read the barcode for the bottle drop when you use the bags they only give you 15 bags per 3 months to drop off I wish they would do at least 20 for every 3 months or 21
yes
It used to be 2 but they just changed it!! So u can drop off up to 15 bags a day!! But its limited to 15 every 90 days per person.
Did you try it a second time? I have had it do it to me the first time tried it again and had it work. Also, the desk staff is nice. Ask for help from them if you need it.
I've been told bags to weigh about 20 pounds. Don't overfill and 2-3 bags a day. U scan card and it open door on side of bldg. Put in and money on card in a day or two
Any carriers I believe are ok
They take all redeemable bottles. Cans and glass u can hand feed them in or use their green bag system which is awesome!!
They have containers available
I think the max bottles you can drop off within a day is 370?
They close at 7
Yes
It's just slow all the time. I got there around 10:20am. I finished around 11:45. There were 2 lines and the person at the door alternated between then letting people get inside. Once inside you get in just one line. They only have half the machines going. But with all that the staff there was super friendly and helpful. If it looks like chaos, just ask the person working the door. And just ask to get a cart when one is available.
No such thing as bottledrop in Cal. They only have crv on everything.

Yes
No franchises. All are owned by Oregon Beverage Recycling Cooperative.
Not that I know of. This place is fairly new. It's been quite successful and convenient for us recyclers. Great place
On the bottle count I'm in Oregon bottle drop will accept any and all kinds the only thing they do not recycle is a bunch of things however you can do coffee or any kind of glass any kind of alcoholic drink except water can be recycled and you're allowed up to $35 a day
Yes, unlabeled returnables will not be processed/paid.
Yes you can there is a place designated for plastic bottles that do not currently have an oregon refund . Additionally the bottledrop also accepts glass bottles and jars that do not have a refund in Oregon however I have not investigated the official reason for having these receptacles I I am leaning on the idea that they are there for miscellaneous leftovers I am not certain that they can handle a large load of these items so unofficially yes they do accept bottles and jars plastic tubs on the other hand I do not feel that they are currently except those but you can reach or BC website there is a number to their headquarters that you can resend directly by I believe they prefer email questions. I have asked orbc questions before via email and have received a response within a couple of days
Not at this time, they don't
Yes anything you pay deposit for
They will hand count crushed cans. Had counts are limited to 50 per day. They can refuse to give credit if the container does not show the redemption value of if they can't identify the brand. ORS 459A.715.
No crushed and yes they need labels do not need caps
There is a kiosk up by the front counter.
They accept all glass bottles and are worth 10 cents per bottle
2105 W Broadway, Eugene, OR 97402
If the bottle doesn't have a label they can't take it. But if you have the detached label they can take it up at the front counter.
No. Its pretty gross for kids.
The number of products has expanded. So now even Gatorade will actually require & return a 10 cent deposit. Used to be 5 cents, but the amount was recently raised and people are more likely to return then if they don't want to spend and extra $1.20 on a 12-pack soda.
Wait 15 mins and go back in.
The rule is 2 bags per account per day, and 2 accounts per household. I do not know if they enforce that rule. If you have more to drop off they say to call and make an appointment. I tried to do that once, and they said I had to come on a week day during business hours.
Sure
In April.
Yes. If they are rejected take up to counter.

My understanding was that if you have an account with them, you are issued green-colored bags which you can drop off for them to count, and then the money is added to your card shortly thereafter (minus the percentage taken as a fee for services rendered). There is no separate bag, as far as i know, for glass, plastic, or aluminum—they all simply go into the green issued bags, whereupon an employee will sort them accordingly after dropoff. If you do not have any green bags , you can bring your cans into the customer return area, and sort/return them entirely yourself via the scan-return machines. Obviously, this method requires more work on the customer's part, but you are spared the dropoff fee; as well as the limitation to the total number bags/deposit-returns per dropoff... That is, you can bring every bag you have to be sorted, scanned, and returned yourself, and keep the entirety of the refunded deposits... I hope that clears things up a bit~
