A great place for low income housing. The list is long but if you just hang on, your name will come around soon.

Needed a form for an extension on my housing voucher due to unable to get a place with stairs. They are really helpful.

I have a business on corner of 11 and Lincoln . I think the idea for housing the homeless in this area is wonderful idea.however I’m concerned what the impact might be for my business if anything only parking issues.? ’m not positive that it’s going to be ok as I tried to get in touch with home for good . To talk about the program. No one with homes for good will return my calls .😔.

I can say the staff is amazing. However the voucher limits for rent need to be updated or something. You literally can't find a place that is close to the amount allotted. I am stuck in a extremely small 2 bedroom with 4 people. Yes it's a roof over my head. But definitely not in anyway an upgrade from poverty. On many levels. The staff is amazing though that I can't express enough.

I would like to know how to get on the list. I am trying to get away from my brother Frank. I do not trust him and he will hurt Candy my good friend and potential wife. My brother Frank hit his wife and gave her a black eye it was terrible he might have been abusing her a long time I heard her say one time that she wants a divorce bu him. I am reality scared of what he might do to Candy if he tries to marry her. That is disrespectful of him trying to marry the woman I love very much with all my heart. Why would he do such a thing. I nevered in my heart wanted him to marry Candy. He got the wrong idea. I might have said something to him and he took it seriously. He told me on the phone one time and said to me if I was not married. I thought he was talking about candy that he would try to marry her. What the hell is he doing!! He is trying to take away the woman I loved and wanted with all my heart to marry. Can you help me? Dennis Mihelich
I heard the section 8 wait-list will open this year. But that doesn't guarantee you will get a voucher.
Look for a 4 bedroom that's renting for what your voucher allows for a 3 bedroom. As long as it falls within your price range they usually will allow it.

I have been there. I've tried every place I could think of and places I was told to go. Nothing nothing nothing. If i didn't have this Breast Cancer. I wouldn't be worried about a place to park. The stress on me will kill me in the end
Yes there absolutely is!! Section 8 has a waitlist but it's currently closed. There is also Saint Vincent de Paul they have a waitlist but it goes super fast u only wait about a few months. Then Catholic Community Services and renters rehab on 4th and Jefferson. There also are quite a few apartment complexes and townhouses that are low income. There is shelter care u can call and they put u in a shelter rent free for 3 to 6 months. And the mission in the Blair Whittaker area but the mission I would use as a last resource cause it's not very safe. If u have a Facebook I can send u some links to lots of low income
I am sure Catholic Community Services or Salvation army will be able to direct you.
That depends on what you qualify for. My mum and I live in a place that accepts animals for an extra deposit, but that's just for one of the places they manage
It is, just really depends on where you live though. The nicer neighborhoods has a sense of community. The less nicer neighborhoods are more vulnerable to crime (car break ins etc)
Hi Lorna, you can start by calling our office at 541-682-3755
Google homes for good. Org to find out waiting list time in status.
Sorry. Maybe call them?
They will pay if you have a sub lease I don't think they will pay for a room for rent
Yes
i would contact the city...
No
Not that I know of but you can call Catholic Community Services. They will direct you to your utility company.
The answer to that is yes, but, it is not open at this time for applications.
you should be able to renew your voucher, if you haven't found anything... i was told by one of the workers when speaking in person and by email.
i would call and make an appointment to talk to someone.
It's a long list 😎
Hello Samantha. To better understand the situation can you tell me if you have applied for Section 8 or Public Housing?
It's a case-by-case basis depending on the nature. The Eugene office is only Section 8 whereas the Springfield office is Public Housing. It doesn't cost anything to apply when the waitlists are open, so feel free to submit an application when they're available.
Legally in the state of Oregon everyone has to accept the voucher, but the way some get around it is by pricing the unit outside the allowable limit for the bedroom size.
What lottery number are you on
