Yes there absolutely is!! Section 8 has a waitlist but it's currently closed. There is also Saint Vincent de Paul they have a waitlist but it goes super fast u only wait about a few months. Then Catholic Community Services and renters rehab on 4th and Jefferson. There also are quite a few apartment complexes and townhouses that are low income. There is shelter care u can call and they put u in a shelter rent free for 3 to 6 months. And the mission in the Blair Whittaker area but the mission I would use as a last resource cause it's not very safe. If u have a Facebook I can send u some links to lots of low income
firstly, home for good is NOT currently accepting new applications, i looked at their website. secondly, if you're apart of a church, reach out to them to see if they can help you with rent. thirdly, this time of year most organizations are out of funds. lastly, look into low income apartments. good luck.
The lottery is open that's what I was told so now would be the time to go in and sign up.
