The staff members try their best but the facility is severely understaffed. Likely to save on labor costs at the expense of your loved one. This results in no one to answer the phone when you call and no one to respond to messages left. In person this results in things taking 3+ hours when they tell it will take one hour. “Over promise, under deliver” is how this company operates.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Rainier staff and “caring counselors” at this facility have proven to be incredibly unorganized, unhelpful and for being an intensive mental health & crisis organization, they’re wildly inconsiderate. Due to a therapist’s recommendation, I contacted rainier springs for an assessment into their IOP. Feeling lucky, I was scheduled an appointment for a Wednesday at 1pm. On the day of my appointment, after waiting over an hour and staff repeatedly moving me around, there was still no person available to do my scheduled assessment… so I left. A staff member named Olga scheduled me an assessment over the phone for 30 mins later which, again, was not completed due to their staffs incompetence. After many voicemails and lots of phone tag, another appointment was set for the next week. Yet, again, another appointment was missed. When I asked Rainier staff why they were incapable of following through to assess me, the lady said “unfortunately they must serve who comes to the lobby first”. Considering this is the 3rd appointment that staff has scheduled and missed… not cancelled, but missed… that’s not a logical excuse to me. Not to mention the fact that most of the people I’ve spoke too throughout this process mostly sound monotone and not at all compassionate of the circumstances. So, I refuse to schedule another appointment to ultimately end up in the same situation or worse, receiving ‘care’ from a facility that is clearly unmotivated in helping clients in crisis, unorganized and incredibly inconsiderate of peoples time while lacking compassion for their emotional and mental well-being. After a week filled with false hope, a lot of tears, hours of phone calls JUST to explain my extensive trauma history and schedule assessments that would never be completed.. I am disappointed to say the least. If this is how people in crisis are treated when advocating for themselves and requesting support, I can only imagine how horrific and unhelpful the rest of their process is. And, after reading more reviews… I wouldn’t ever send a loved one to this place, even if it was the only option. -10000/5. Additionally, to any staff that does read this, (especially in the scheduling department). Maybe try to communicate and confirm appointment times and schedules with your coworkers ? Just a suggestion, so that you don’t continue to give people who are already struggling false hope and additional trauma… Paired with the disappointment of realizing that even trained professionals aren’t compassionate enough to follow through and support.

After doing much research, and after a recommendation from a mental health professional, we made the decision to send our loved one here for help. What I know now, and didn't know then, is that this is a crisis hospital not a therapeutic hospital. There is a difference! Basically, they checked every 15 minutes to make sure she had a pulse, and very little one-on-one care took place. Her hospitalization was for 6 days followed by participation in the partial hospitalization program for an additional 2 weeks. She did learn some things from the classes provided there; however they rarely got through a complete lesson due to personal storytelling of others in the class. If you are wanting in-depth personal help for you or your loved one, this is not the place. I spent hours upon hours researching facilities and analyzing what they offer. I am writing this for other families or individuals who are seeking help desperately. My loved one came out of this facility more depressed than when she went in. This is a decent place to bring your loved one for safe keeping in a crisis, but not when your are looking for a program to address various mental health concerns on a personal level (in my opinion).

This place saved my life. The staff was caring and amazing, the nursing assistant Mike was kind and really gave helpful tools and insights during my stay there. I will say the male psychiatrist was not a very good doctor and the conversations we had lasted less than a minute. I feel like he kept people who were ready to go way to long to the point of people having to call the state in order to get released. Other than that my time was amazing. Thank you rainier springs.

Go to the facility any time for an assessment. If inpatient is warranted, they will admit you.
Call and try to reserve a bed. Preferably 7:00am and 5:00 pm. Detox is open 24/7. Providing they have a opening. They usually do. Sometimes a person can transition from detox to treatment as well.
They deal with more acute and crisis intervention and stabilization.
Call them and ask
I don't know, I don't even smoke week sorry I couldn't be more help to you
Yes they offer suboxone
