EyeHealth has been very receptive to my needs as a patient, scheduling extra appointments when I needed them. I was admitted for a retina detachment and will need more surgery, but the care I’ve received so far is excellent. My name is James Sapp.

This office is so severely understaffed that it is nearly impossible to speak with the scheduling person. They scheduled one eye for my mom and the surgery went well but now just 2 weeks before the surgery for the other eye the doctor is now going in vacation that day. I can’t reschedule because the scheduling person is unresponsive. It has been a week since we were told we need to reschedule but I have not been able to speak with them. So my mom has vision in one eye and not the other and it is disorienting. This has been an extremely frustrating office to deal with. If you have the option to work with a doctor’s office that is willing to hire enough help to schedule and answer the phones you should!

I’m hesitant to even give two stars as the experience was so unprofessional. The doctor completed his process from start to finish without gloves, touching my face and eyes. The process before and after seeing the doctor was highly disorganized. Before leaving I questioned why I wasn’t given a printed prescription. The receptionist said it wasn’t needed, ensuring “I will be fine.” I drove to my local pharmacy to hear they haven’t received a prescription request from the EyeHealth. I walked around the pharmacy for twenty minutes. After the pharmacist received nothing they recommend calling EyeHealth. After wasting my time on hold I decided to drive back. When I explained why I came back the receptionist at EyeHealth asked me “Is having to drive back really a big deal?” She followed that up with a quick lie “requesting a prescription takes time”. I then requested a printed perspiration for the second time. She said “they don’t do that.” After expressing my frustrations she printed the prescription. The pharmacist still had no request when I returned for the second time. We were grateful that it was printed because nothing came through. Some of the staff at this location are unapologetically comfortable with wasting time. I will not be returning here again.

Doctor's office side was just fine (not the best, but certainly adequate). If you are interested in purchasing glasses, I'd go elsewhere. The options are limited, overpriced, and the staff are rude (at least the tall, middle-aged, white male was). To be fair, the female employees were completely polite and normal (the dark-haired woman at the front desk and the younger woman with bangs). To the jerk on staff: Seriously consider getting over yourself - just because you're located in NW, doesn't mean your blatant snobbery and horrific attitude is warranted. Great job losing business!

Hi Donna, Yes, our Northwest office is open on Saturdays 8am-12pm. You should schedule an appointment to see one of our providers, you don't need an open to visit our optical department. Thank you! Michele-Patient Care
