My mom and I loved our stay here, I finally got to see her after two years apart due to covid. She loves flowers and gardens so Estancia was a perfect fit since it's near my apartment and the grounds are stunningly lush with greenery and flowers! massages at the spa are fantastic but beware, they charge an automatic %21 service charge but they don't give that to the therapists, only %15 goes to them and the hotel keeps the rest!! They don't tell you unless you ask so make sure you do. Nice location and nice staff but disappointing management. Edit: even the response is misleading. To be clear %15 goes to the massage therapist who did your service, %2 is given to the front desk and the hotel keeps the remaining %4

Tranquility is the best description. A relatively small resort in an unassuming location. Good food , occasionally live music but the calming atmosphere is the highlight. Perfect for a Sunday Brunch.. Would have rated 5 stars if less expensive.

Probably one of the more beautiful hotels we have stayed in. With kids or without them, it's just perfect! The rooms are spacious, with balconies that look out to their gorgeous gardens. A perfect spot to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. The restaurants in the hotel are great with good food and drinks. And the pool, oh the pool area is heaven! This has definitely become our go to hotel in San Diego!!

I had a wonderful trip. Staff were very courteous and really helped when I could not tolerate neighbor's loud snores. The grounds are serene and just beautiful, and I truly enjoyed the views from the balcony. Mattress wasn't the best but acceptable. Water pressure was great although the tub faucet could be fixed, it was wasting a lot of water when using the shower head. Self parking was very easy to access. Loved relaxed checkout time at noon.
