We lived at OMS from 1/2018 to 7/2019. We have nothing but praises living here and only moved out because my husband graduated. The staff was extremely helpful throughout our time here. The sister apartment (Mesa Nueva) next to us had awesome amenities that we had access to such as gym, pool/jacuzzi, and the Rough Draft Brewing Pub. The Pub had a beautiful sitting area outside with a fireplace, plenty of seating, and a few games.

Located next to Interstate 5, this is a convenient and affordable housing options for UCSD graduate students. You can commute by walking or biking to ucsd campus which is located across the freeway on the west side. It has all the basic facilities and a huge multistory parking complex next to it.

Zorina Smith

Decent place to live, affordable. But no air conditioning, makes the apartment humid. No bath tub, small space, washers and dryers always break, and the maintenance doesn't give you an ETA. Kind of unprofessional. I would give this place 5 stars, but there are more cons than pros. Edited to 2 stars, people leave their stuff in the washer for a very long time and not pick them up. There are other people that need to do their laundry, and people are inconsiderate and take up 6 washers at a time and just leave them there for hours at a time.

Its affordable and nice for what it is (being close to campus) but the architecture is horrible with so much wasted space. Pros: Affordable, close to campus (UCSD), kind staff, neighbors are all in the same age range so no one is freaking out over noise (which is a huge plus). Cons: Small living space, NO AIR CONDITIONING (which is almost barbaric in 2019 (first world problems)), no smoking allowed (they dont even have designated smoking units/areas (which feels like a violation of rights or at least discrimination), no washer and dryers in unit (and the communal ones are always broken), no bath tub, a weird PO BOX system (weird/bad idea), and again NO AIR CONDITIONING!!!
