Pretty much all of the food is good, the service is always awesome and the atmosphere is warm. I've eaten here quite a few times and always have a good experience. I don't know if it's inflation or what, but my most recent visit... I paid $20 for a teeny, tiny cup of fruit and a drink. I understand paying for good, quality food and drinks, but the size of this fruit cup was laughable. I actually giggled a little bit. You'd have to order 3 of them to even get close to the size of the usual restaurant style fruit cup.

My partner took me here for lunch, as he had been wanting to show me how great it was. I ordered the avocado toast with a vanilla latte, and both waters. The avocado toast was beautiful and well presented. I’m not a fan of sunny side up eggs. Understand that if you dine here, that the eggs on the avocado toast are sunny side up- and that’s polarizing for a lot of people. However, I had heard about everything being fresh and organic- so I tried the yolk with a bit of toast to examine the freshness of the egg. It was of good quality and had no musty aftertaste. Moving on, I noticed by a lack there of- this is a salt free restaurant. I was a little stunned, but accepted it. I’m aware that some green restaurants will forgo salt, as it can be highly processed. Usually though, the lack of flavor enhancing salt is replaced with other flavors such as lemon juice, lime, vinegar and wine. Well, not here. The dressings consist of herbs and oil, with a dash of vegetable juice if you are lucky. Back to the avocado toast...what I thought was cheese turned out to be ground egg whites. Underneath my egg, was a few slivers of dry red cabbage and onion, followed by a pile of dry spinach leaves. Under the leaves was a sliced avocado. It was unripe and tough. It rested on two slices of toast which were moistened with unsalted butter. The toast had the most flavor as a result of it being nutty wheat bread. It was blah and boring and dry as a bone. It cost $13 and tasted like a wooden nickel. I washed my three bites down with a vanilla latte that was without a single hint of vanilla. Too boring to even comment. Honestly, it’s glib and childish to deliberately present fare that is without seasoning, for the sake of freshness testing. That’s silly. To what end?! Ok, it’s fresh...now season it!!

The POC Minnetonka, People’s Organic Minnetonka is an amazing cafe. Organic, sustainable and delicious with a nice counter and lovely dining room. The menu is significant with standards and surprises. We enjoyed the excellent tea selection, chai and simple tea options. The service and server, Kayla were friendly, experienced and made our visit a great experience. Parking is easy and the cafe is just a little east of the 494 exit.

Wow! If I could give this restaurant 10 stars I would! We had brunch at the Minnetonka location today, and what a great place! Fabulous, fresh, organic, locally-sourced, unique food, healthful drinks, exquisite desserts (including gluten-free) and damn-good organic coffee and specialty coffee drinks. Very reasonably priced and fun atmosphere as well! They also have charming little patios in the front and back on their store - and they serve cocktails, so I certainly plan to return when it is warmer to patio-dine! Kelsey was our server and she was PHENOMENAL. Five stars!!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Peoples Organic follows the mandated safety practices well. As a courtesy I put on my mask when interacting with the staff and when not seated
