Absolutely. Instead of totally replacing old cabinets that are usually still functional, all you need to do to update the look of your bathroom or kitchen is to give them a new paint job. If your home interior hasn't been updated for at least 20 years, you can make your cabinets look modern with a different color and a change of hardware (handles and hinges).
