The stylists are very personable and knowledgeable. Jen gives great advice for hair care and always does a lovely job styling mine. I got colors done for the first time and couldn't be happier. They're also really good about finding the best pricing for their customers that they can when checking out, and are very understanding about rescheduling appointments. Tips are only in cash or Venmo, so keep that in mind!

About 13 years ago I got a thyo perm from darcy.. at the time I wasn't a stylist.. now I am. At that time I also wasn't aware that the type of perm Darci gave me is only meant to be put on hair once and then ONLY applied to regrowth after. It's just that strong .. Within the next 16 months Darci applied (first perm was medium strength) 2 more at strongest strength.. all 3 times running the perm through my entire hair.. for the entire duration of chemical treatment. I ended up meeting another local Master stylist ( 20+ experience in industry)and helped rescue my hair.. but, she said it was a miracle I had any hair at all.. . At that time though Darci bullied me into a color application in addition to the perm each time to " seal the cuticle" I now realize being in the hair industry aka add -on $$$. I also now realize she had bad cuts all over her hand as she rubbed the chemicals deeply into my roots and scalp.. I remember even in my ignorance thinking omg.. I hope she doesn't have anything and she's going to pass it on to me.. through her cuts. I was also served wine and offered seconds.. which, agsin.. at the time didn't realize they probably didn't have a license to serve alcohol. The end result.. my hair was badly damaged. When I initially went to salon I had virgin hair down to my tail, untouched and very healthy and strong..after her "care" it was breaking off. It took several years to grow all the damaged hair out. The reason why I'm writing another review now ( I have one up on yellow pages from years back?) Is because last night I had a client that was completely traumatized by Darci.. and had got to remember that in the past decade since I've gotten into the hair industry I've actually run into too many woman who had the exact same experience with Darci at Medusa.. I also worked with one of her ex coworkers and what they said about her behavior was down right creepy.. how Darci told them to her face that she enjoyed ruining people's hair.. and how she thought it was funny. From my personal experience and years of hearing of other's horror stories id say this is true.. my advice.. stay away from Darci and any salon that keeps a stylist on with such a horrifying track record.

Medusa Salon is the best out there! Darci is the best colorist, hairdresser I have ever been to and I have been to many other hairdresser that don't have half the knowledge that Darci has. I have never been so pleased with the way my hair looks and feels. The color, cut and highlites that Darci does at each and every appt with her is Amazing. Most talented hairdresser I have ever been to. If you want a beautiful, healthy, perfect cut, color or what ever hair service you need, this is the place for YOU! WOW is all I can say! Keep up the Fantastic work ladies! If I could give you 10 Stars I sure would.
