This place has been around awhile with some history to it. We were in the front small room which is not quite as nice as the backroom even though we had reservations. Most of the food was very good although my meat was supposed to be medium rare and it was closer to medium well. For the price you would think they would have gotten it correct.

Old time fun! We went on a Saturday evening and it wasn't very busy. It had a nice gentle atmosphere and the candles gave off a wonderful glow. The attire of the staff of wonderful! Try the peanut soop!

Not just a novelty! The food was very good. The New York strip was cooked perfectly great flavor with absolutely delicious mashed potatoes and nicely cooked asparagus. George Washington's Favorite was also very good I've had duck several times and they executed it perfectly. The corn pudding was also delicious. Our server was polite and prompt even though we took service to the edge of closing. The interior seating was well spaced and such a cool authentic setting. You definitely won't go wrong visiting Gadsby's! I didn't even mention the crab cakes and fried oysters definitely some of the best that we've had out here on the east coast!
