A beautiful way to greet the morning sunrise. This lovely short trail is very well-maintained and easy for all skill levels. It’s paved all the way up to the top, and even has garbage cans and informational signage.

I'll go, first, I'm overweight and I know it, the small hike was pretty brutal but once at the top, it was amazing. Took my vintage Polaroid camera along with me and took 2 absolutely stunning photos. I'll post them later, they are still developing at the moment, but I was amazed at the history of this beautiful rock and was surprised to find a ground squirrel living under the rock. Will come back again. 10/10 hands down.

Nice short hike paved anywhere from 5' to 6' on some areas. All up hill

Interesting geological piece, but nothing extraordinary. Easy to find, access, and exit. Handicapped accessible; paved, but steep for 100 yards or so. 5-10 minute walk to the top. No facilities. Parking is roadside with room for 2-3 vehicles.

It is day use only. I don't believe that there is any actual patrols ensuring you obey that. Although passing police or local residents might ask. For stargazing you would be better off going to a dark sky area using a dark sky map.
It's very steep in some places. However, it's fully paved all the way up and even around the glacier rock. There is a picnic table too... or there was the last time I was there. The view is amazing, breathtaking and worth the short walk. The others are correct, it takes around 10 minutes. Please be considerate and don't take anything but pictures. There aren't many accessible glacier rocks here. Enjoy the view and have fun!
