Great service. I was happy to find somewhere that I could get a passport appointment, even if I had to drive a ways from home. Friendly staff. Nice AC in the lobby.

I have had repeated issues with parcel service at the Dallas, OR Postal Office. I pay for a P.O. Box there. Many online merchants refuse to ship to P.O.boxes but they will deliver to the Post Office address. Unfortunately, I have to wait at least 24 hours after my packages are delivered to retrieve them either because this post office is under-staffed or, they cannot competently sort parcels before close of business despite deliveries before the lunch hour. On at least half a dozen occassions I have been told that I do not have packages after tracking fata states my package was delivered to them 1 sometimes 2 days before hand. I have had a package given to someone else and I received theirs and for the second time a package completely gone missing. I have had the frustrating experience of speaking to a postal worker who, according to the courier, signed for the package that is missing from their Post Office. I asked what can be done and they instructed me to call the courier! SAY WHAT!? If it were not for the prior experiences I have had I might have actually done that. I sincerely feel bad for the Post Master there. There are some real problems there and I suspect that the situation will have the attention of the Post Master General of the United States. I hope there isn't anything nefarious taking place there. I have read some of the other reviews and it doesnt look good! (Update) 11/27/2021 This update is overdue. For more than a year now there has been a remarkable difference at this postal location. Although the personalities of the postal staff aren't exactly effervescent, they are friendly and always helpful and have been for more than a year. Considering the hardships created by COVID-19, they really deserve a tremendous amount of credit for their hard work and dedication despite the pandemic! Thank you

Honestly would give zero stars if it were an option. I resell vintage clothing on the internet and so I ship items very frequently and they need to be shipped promptly. I use various resell websites and all provide a prepaid shipping label which I print on a thermal label printer. Normally I just drop it in the basket and I’m off about my business, however on this day the door was shut so I had to go to the window. No problem. I wait and then am helped by a trainee. She tried to scan my package maybe two times and then told me it wouldn’t scan and there was nothing she could do for me. This has happened to me once before and I’m not sure why but previously a wonderful woman (who I never see there anymore, sad!) was so kind as to suggest that she could key in the shipping label tracking numbers no problem. She did so and I had no issues, the package started tracking and I was able to view its progress through my resell app. So back to my most recent visit. After the trainee told me there was nothing she could do I asked her if she could please try keying in the numbers as my package was time sensitive. She informed me that she would have to go ask her supervisor if she could do so. When she came back she informed me that he supervisor told her that was not something they could do. I let her know that I had it done for me once before at this very same Dallas post office, to which she went back and got her supervisor. Her supervisor came out in a huff and already had an aggressive attitude right from the start. She rudely told me they cannot key in the numbers from my shipping label and told me it was due to the fact that if it were not scanned it would show that the post office has lost the package. I informed her that this has never happened to me and the one time I had someone key in my package started tracking no problem so I thought that was strange. I was upset so I took my package back and told her I would go to a different post office, to which she rudely replied that’s fine. I did in fact go to a different post office, Rickreall, and received wonderful warm and friendly customer service. The woman there told me she keys in all the time for customers no problem and was happy to do so for me. She was amazing, thank you Rickreall post office!!! And…my package started tracking immediately no issue so I feel I have been lied to by the Dallas PO and that they are apparently just to lazy to do their job by providing good customer service. As I stated I am a vintage reseller and ship very frequently to my customers and pride myself in same day or next day shipping so it’s unfortunate that I cannot trust my hometown post office and will now have to go to Rickreall or Monmouth to ship my items. Completely disgusted by Dallas post office customer service…or should I say lack there of.

Was waiting for a package and checked the tracking. Said it was out for delivery while i was at work. No problem we have parcel lockers that larger packages go into. Package never arrived. Called the post office and was told i would get a call back. That was three days ago. Normally not one to complain but when you cannot even call a customer back that was understanding and polite you deserve bad reviews. To top it off they apparently can't read. 3 days in a row they have been delivering mail to my address that is on the opposite side of town. . . . .

I am not sure.
There used to be "general delivery" where you have to go to the counter, tell them your name, show ID and they give it to you. You have to go there first to set it up.
Yes at the post office.
I think on Saturday, they pick up the outside mail at 4:15 on weekdays.
I believe it's $24 for 3 months
